Hello, Im heading down in a fortnight to dive the HMAS Perth, I see in a comment below it is 34 meters to the bottom, I was wondering about the water temp and which wetsuit to wear, Ill be doing it near the end of March which looks like the same time of year you did it?
I dived in a 3mm same time of year your diving it, but I dive most of the year in a 3mm, cant remember the temp, the mooring line if you’re using you own boat isn’t attached to the boat and you end up in near zero visibility at the bottom, so swim over to the crows nest sticking out of the water and go down
Thanks for the tips, I also dive in a 3mm surfing suit most of the year but being Albany I might wear my 4/3. I do a bit of Surfing as well as Diving. I see another of your videos you recently posted was in Japan in the snow, my cousin was there at the same time you might know him Jay Flynn?@@JaysonDyer
As if snakes and spiders weren't bad enough, now we have wobbegong in our dunnies! Beaut vid.
Haha, cheers
Awesome bud,bet it's a wicked dive
Yeah definitely worth diving, vis isn’t amazing but the colour and growth make up for it
3:16 This is just a little one. The big one's body fills almost the entire widths of the corridor.
Wow I thought this was big
Honestly I can’t tell what it is

I have a grandad who survived the perth
My poor baby, what have they done to you??
How deep down is it?
34m to the bottom, the vis is terrible from about 25 to the bottom
Not much left after the Indonesian scavenger got to her they even used explosives to break the ship apart
Wrong ship mate.
