Thanks Raptor, you really are the best. You never purposely offend and I believe that I buy more games that you have recommended than all other game reviewers. Eternal blessings, Sir!
From everything I have seen this game looks amazing. I just snagged it just now. I know I'm a little late to the party but better late than never right lol. Will be beginning my playthrough this weekend for sure. Does anyone know how the mmo game Gloria Victus is. I would like to try that game as well.
@@crose4761Plenty survive, or the industry wouldn’t be full of BS companies trying to get a piece of the pie. The problem is the publishers and the platforms that sell the games allow it the cons to continue. Stop giving money to bad developers and save it, ply games that are good and will give you countless hours of play.
@@juliuspacheco2594 yeah true, his content is so varied which makes his channel more fun and less boring. Started watching some of his vids since like 7 months ago. How about you?
Anno & Frostpunk never quite did it for me, I mean I got into both, but found I hit the ceiling of what they where capable of too early and there was a restricted/controlled creative freedom which in a city builder is a huge factor, both Anno & Frostpunk utilized their own unique (anno less unique) grid system, where buildings could only be placed in certain locations, you still had a degree of control but you could just as well have a button to generate random placement within the allowed areas and you'd end up with something much the same, so your personal choice is completely superfluous. Civ is a complete joke and a waste of money which I'll never get refunded for or revisit, quite upset about that too!. I'm still sinking massive amounts of hours into Northgard as my primary RTS, and even though I enjoy it and find it satisfyingly challenging to master, I just feel it lacks the emphasis on city building that the likes of C&C, LOTR-BFMEII AOEII & WCIII all had.. this seems like a generation of games left in the past for no reason at all, kinda like the contrast between todays pre-audio-engineered sound clip compiled 'EDM' music made by 16yr olds on a laptop, not via the complex mechanisms or any individual musical manipulation of the software, but through sound packs like the lego of music and yet goes onto earn these punks stupid amounts of money and stardom. This music is everything these days, that or some gangsta crap with autotune and a lame but technologically advanced backing track. All the above and more is like pseudo music rather than where actual musicians manually create layers together, and this is coming from an electronic music productionist. Again, social interaction is also reduced in todays later generations too just like the later RTS games. Now our interactions mostly take place in unrealistic forums like FB in which 3rd party multi billion dollar conglomerates can get greased-up and governments gain more control whilst we get further detached and further depressed and don't know why. Lets hope AOEIV can come through with the goods that blend the times back to its origins where RTS was more like city building for lots of strategically important reasons, but maintains the complex highly challenging combat element, and also utilizes todays advancements in technology for more intelligent AI and complex weather and animation, not to mention the overall graphics of course. Frozenheim looks a lot like its trying to be a more realistic version of Northgard with more city building.. could be good!, do I make the gamble and buy it? Sometimes I feel like its just me that's turned cynical with age where nothing quite 'does it'. Perhaps games where just better when I was a virgin living with mum without much life experience living in a cold grey area that had lots of rain and all my friends at school would also be playing these games and we could talk about them to escape being at school. But in summary, Northgard does it, it satisfies my need for fun challenging interactive escapism which is largely what games are about imo.
too bad most review on steam say the same thing.. imma keep it on my list to visit it from time to time but as it is, its not even worth it as a really cheap early access
Well to be fair this game gets boring after 3 hours. I played it then i was like there is nothing happening. And i refunded it. It didnt suck me in. And there definatly wasnt enough content for 24hours of gameplay.
damn really love the realistic graphics, always brings in more immersion to the game imo.
the trees make it. i hope they add mines tho

I wish there was a game like this based on feudal Japan 😔
I am wayting for such game for ages, I hope I live long enough to see it happening. Japanese type of environment would me amazingly beautiful.
Ugh no...we need more medieval Europe games like this not asian stuff.
@@dreadxlegionx058 All hail the Asian stuff ;P
@@dreadxlegionx058 like we need more fps games set in the us-Middle East wars lmao
that sounds cool
Early entry is pretty good. Looking forward for the entire game to be released.
the ambient fauna here is great
It’s like northgard HD
Cant wait for this game, thank you raptor for making me aware of it.

@Ismael Alonzo This statement is the problem streamers bring to the situation.
Never mind the base looks good
lol there's a good reason why he doesn't want to play against the AI.....there is no AI :-)
Wait seriously?
It's like they made a single villager's hut. When you put down one next to the other like that it just doesn't look right.
Looks beautiful
Yeah another one i'm looking forward to :D
Welcome to Raptorihalla
Its Valheim had a baby with End Zone. Kinda looks ok.
Interesting fact- Vikings invented hotdogs and hotdog stalls.
Wow this game is beautiful, thanks Raptor lets get ya 1mill subs!!!!!
Awesome game with loads of potential. Best of all is the amazingly cheap price
ancient cities : takes own sweet time to develop...
frozenheim : here comes the nth new challenger~~
So disappointed with both of those games... :(
You built all that in less than an hour. GG
I can't get enough of this! Thank you!!
GLORY TO RAPTORIA
Someone gifted this to me and I still haven't played it. Looks like I'm missing out!
*beautiful girl problems*
Reminds me of Stronghold Crusaders ^^
I enjoyed the stream. you made some really good jokes that made me laugh 😅😅 And This game is really nice too

Raptor you actually look like a viking
Love this! reminds me of Age of empire :P
Now there's a game I'm looking forward to in October
Id like to see more of this game :) maybe some skirmish combat too?
The 20th of the 21st? I don't think that's a real date 😂
Only downsize to the ships being customizable is once you got the parts for the best stats, you'll only build that configuration
Raptor keep up your work and stay humble your work will pay off some day
7:40 were those wolves mating? I saw 2 of them and little hearts.
Could work on reveling the dog of war more, would have been easier to know where to build your walls
This looks better than Northgard
More video of this game pls.
This seems like an upgraded "Ancestors Legacy" and if they have the same developer it'd make sense
Mmmmh... looks alot alike Frostpunk.... intersting...
It reminds me a lot Frostpunk
Raptor: Yes, I sold the food, I'm a crazy man.
Me, thinking about Josh forcing his villagers to eat their dead: Sir, you don't know crazy.
placing that fishermans hut was driving me insane lmao

how did you place the wall? mine just would not place
This looks the shit, can't wait to have a go!
👋 raptor, new to your channel. I really enjoy your videos. Can't wait to play
Which is better? Frozenheim or Dawn of Man?
in 10 min you have all buildings .. they need more Buildings, more economic more from all ... but nice to play for 1 hour. Graphic love it
You should play and review 0AD
What is your bmi???
Looks like a "Manor Lords" copy... but with vikings.
The difference manor lord isn't close to coming out
im thinking of buying it but dont think to many people online dont trust steam charts anymore
the name and font are suspiciously similar to valheim
reminds me of rfrostpunk
The UI is almost the same as Frostpunk.
Exactly
If we buy into this game now will we have to pay more when the full game is released or are we locked in at the current price.
Current price usually games get cheaper after at least 4-6 months
Looks like a great game. Every rts I've played since age of empires II has been lacking.
Is this game created by the same dev team from Endzone? To me, the graphics and UI are very similar.
Gives me frostpunk vibe
so you don' get attacked?
It'd be cool if the building could be levelled instead they're all on the piss
thats how it was back then
Reminds me a bit of banished
Steam game..?
Sorry, came here hoping I could find a branch for Open Country.. I've been looking for a branch now for 3 weeks. Well, I'll just keep looking.
Great
vikings didn't have druids smh
that was celts
So it's better version of Northgard
Have the Dev's fixed the AI?
is there a way to listen to the main menu music
*Plays Banished*
The shore line seems funky tho. Water goes way too much back to the sea.
Like the dawn of men...same game
Console release?
gameplay is very a lot like Foundation lol
Druids? They are Keltic, not Norse...
Can you upgrade your woden wall to a stone wall?
Hi
This is starting to sound a lot like "Banished".
Do you know of any games like this one for ps4
When is the release ?
releasing on early access on 20th (Steam)
@@arkasarkar6935 thank you
So does this have a sandbox mode as well as campaign?
It does :)

Why this game is not on android?
2 MUCH BLASPHEMING

why cant u just build anywhere?
Vikings don't build row houses.
