Starting from resistance to earthquakes, easy conducting, remodeling , etc. It's also sturdy but termite is a problem for long run. My question is: is it against Panamanian "code" to build out of wood and sheetrock (the mold resistant of course) ? Among building materials in Panama I've seen wood that roughly resembles US/Canadian stud (or 2x4). Can it be used for main frame construction? OR, can it be used for partial mixed construction in a sloppy terrain where suspended part of the building is wooden and on-the-ground resting part traditional block and cement? How about the roof? Can it be wooden? All I've seen was sheet metal so far...
