Our pastor’s son just landed in Nairobi two days ago for a month long trip to help his aunt and uncle with their church. Such awesome opportunities for teens to see the world and share the Gospel.
Thats so awesome! I had 3 of my 6 kids serve missions. My boys served 2 year missions & my daughter served 18 months. It was so hard because we only got to speak to them on major holidays & Mothers Day. There was no break to go home unless there was a death in the family or a serious family emergency & your child chose to go home. You could request their presence, but ultimately it was your childs decision. Your children grow so much during this time. I remember sitting & just staring @ them, taking them all in when they came home. Their missions were so worth it. For them & our family. I would do it again in a heart beat & my kids would too. In fact, I miss having a missionary in the field. Good luck Belle! Enjoy your time serving the Lord & the people of these countries. ❤🙏🏼❤

I am happy but sad for Sara. You both know where you are from. Never forget and remind yourself every chance you get. Come home soon.

While my oldest (19) has moved to another town and is getting married, she's at staying in Canada! 😁 Our second (16) is graduating early and going to Hawaii to study marine biology and environmental science.
