I bought one 5 years ago. Using braid on a spinning rod. Line twist problems went away. Back then I think I paid 20 for it. Still works like new with probably over 100 reels done.
Pretty cool. I made a line spooler in about 10 minutes, you connect it to your rod and reel in the line. Works like a charm. Going to create a 3d model of it and make a sell sheet, then send it off to corporate America. 🙌🏾
15 minutes to review? You're right! That IS cray-cray. I've had this for years and I do love mine! One issue I now have is the screw setting the tension for spinning the line spool doesn't adjust well. But other than that, it's great!
Just re-spooled my steelhead rod n reel. I was fighting a nice steelhead, I was trying to keep it out of the rapids, I was reeling while the drag was running. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Instant twists and you must re-spool if you ever commit that fish fighting SIN!
My wife bought me that exact thing for Christmas and I just put it to use today and I agree it’s awesome! So much better then all the other methods I’ve tried over the years. Glad I found your video it’s definitely helpful on setting it up and useing it haha just wish I would of found it before
Great video man. Big fan. Does this thing keep the line as tight as it should be though? I've always been told line has to be put on tight on spinning reels, super tight on baitcasters. Is that even right?? Appreciate what you're doing man. Got my new kayak and I've got fishing fever lol. Keep up the Great work buddy!
BC, great question. There is a tensioner to keep the line as tight as you want it to be so you should be good to go to line as you see fit. I believe that mono doesn't require a ton of tension when spooling. Braid and Fluro should be snug on a spinning and baitcaster reel.... I'm not sure about aggressively tight though. Just normal tension will do the trick.
Good for you but just adding the line spool to the Connectors was nearly impossible not to mention it was never balanced properly due to poor design and would come apart when I started reeling. Going with a homemade design and will test out in Guntersville early April. Appreciate your video though and timing was impeccable having thrown it out today!
My contraption is my wife and kids lol but I do want one of those.
Lol.. that's a good contraption! Used to be mine too but whenever my wife and kids saw me changing line they magically disappeared. So weird.

Bought one a couple years ago, use it for both baitcaster and spinning reels, works perfectly. Highly recommended!
Right on Terry!
Thinking of getting this myself... thanks for the video.
Right on Sarge
What I needed was Screwdriver, toes and a little passion 😂😂😂

Get Some!
I've always used a 5 gallon bucket with water in it, and just squeeze the line nice and tight with my fingers.
Hey, there's a nice hack Victor.
Good review I've seen those but never thought about buying one.... until now.....lol thanks for the review
Thanks Mark! Hope you like it like I do. Hopefully gone are the days of line twists and wasted time.

Nice, and I will be sure to watch out for the finicky tension screw
Just ordered it I’ve been thinking about getting it for awhile and it happened to be on sale when I watched this
Heck yeah!
Just got one it works great..
Awesome! GET SOME!
Does it matter which way you put the spool on the device?

the ultimate question.. did you land that fish?
@@wendellfishing Yes
Great tutorial it’s always a pain asking the wife to help holding’s the spools previously. So I’ve ordered this😂
Right on brother!
gets new line on spool with out twist go fishing cast out 20 times reel in line twisted again
Does it matter if the line comes off the top or the bottom of the spool, or is there only one way to set it up?
I always have it coming out away from the bar.. but I don't have a rationale for it. Just how I have always done it.
awesome I need one of these!!
Right on Maurice. I’m sure you will get some good use out of it. I use it all of the time.
Stand still!
Great video 🎉 fast, and to the 👉 I purchased one after watching directly from the manufacturer 29.99 on its way.
Right on!

Thanks Kenneth! Happy to help and it sure beats asking my wife to hold the screwdriver and spin around as I reel. :)
That is a first for me!
I was tired of all of the twists in my line!!!
@@wendellfishing Makes sense! And I thought my screwdriver did the trick…. So now I have to have Kim both hold the crew driver AND twirl!
Twirl Kim twirl!!! Faster!!!
@@wendellfishing yeah, I’m thinking Kim would rather buy me the gadget than twirl!
@@HopeInitiatives :)
Damn right! No more holding a screwdriver in my toes????
lol... big facts there John
Do you still use this?
I do!

Tried it it did ok for the bait caster tried for spinning reel absolute trash
It's semi-ironic, as I just got one of those things this past weekend.
Right on.. What do you think?
@@wendellfishing seems alright, spooled up a baitcaster but haven't used it yet. Time will tell
Right on
Incidentally if you catch a fish with this it will twist your line 😂
Hes a little hiper
Truly worst product ever made in the history of fishing! Had for a few years and finally threw in garbage today!
Oh man.. just spun up 5 reels today with it
