12:44 I own a new production NPZ PO 4X24 (Civilian variant of the military PSO-1 and 1-M2) and the graph on the real scope is a rangefinder, it's calibrated for either 1,7 meters (military, so for people) or 1,5 meters (hunting, for deer) and how it works is that you position your target so that they fit between the 2 lines, and the corresponding number above (those are missing in game) tells you the range, the PSO-1M2-1 (this is called the 1M2 in game for some reason, it's made for the VSS and 7.62x39 AKs) has a 400 meter rangefinder, and the PSO-1 and PSO-1M2 have a 1000 meter rangefinder (for the SVD).
To clarify the different models of scope, the original PSO-1 is the model with a IR detector, this is because back in the 60s night vision sniper scopes had IR projectors, so when going into night operations, you would flip on the IR detection and scan the battlefield for enemy snipers using NVG scopes. The PSO-1M2 is a later model which removed the IR detector, as it was expensive, redundant and caused the scopes lenses to turn yellow because of the chemicals used in the IR detection thingy (not actually sure if the yellowing was caused by the chemicals, just something I heard), and the PSO-1M2-1 is the same as the PSO-1M2, but it has the 400 meter rangefinder type reticle, as the VSS and VAL could not reach ranges beyond that effectively. There's also the NPZ (Novosibirsk mechanical plant, manufacturer of pretty much every Russian military optic since the PSO-1) PO series, which are civilian hunting versions of the PSO scopes. Belarusian manufacturer BelOMO also make their own civilian PSOs called POSPs.
In my opinion the M145 is a great scope, mostly because since all I use are goofy or cool guns, the ranges actually help to find the drop of the goofy ones, because yes I am that much of a chad to NEVER use Ballistick tracker, not even while sniping on can canon with canon ball 😎
For REAL; I just love the look of it, especially on the M60! I'm kinda surprised Steven put the C79 and FF 3X NV above it, the M145 is one of my go to's for scopes tbh.

The aug A1 its overall a solid gun, its good in close, mid and long ranges, u get a scope so u dont change the laser, good recoil and damage. Its literally the perfect gun
the "colt retro scope" is pretty good irl due to 5.56 not having any real recoil but obv in this game recoil is a balancing tool so its portrayed as bad
bonus for some scopes when put on snipers are, the ability to bolt while in alt aim, which is useful, cuz you don't have to unaim after tht, examples are pu 1vcig 6x and vcog 8x
the TA44 ACOG is one of my favorite scopes, its like a red dot but better, better magnification and the blue tint is actually verry nice as I can actually see better than with a normal scope (which is probably because am slightly colorblind and have a really hard time with red colors so a blue tint makes everything easier to differentiate, especially on maps with red colors and red enemies) tho about the aug A1 scope, it is my favorite scope in the game too, no obstruction, extremly good magnification, and I actually thought that it was an aug a1 only scope but huge thanks for teaching me that it can be put on any weapons ! tho with that huge number of kill required, I might have to pre buy it instead of unlocking it with kills
to be honest, i use the M145 for lower velocity guns (typically w/ .50cals) simply because i can use the lines to approximate long ranges and aim better.
i used to love the C79 before the scope update i also enjoy the PSO-1 scope but i don't understand where i'm supposed to place the arrow, if it should overlay on top of the opponent or have the tip of the arrow on said enemy. Also the ragdolls be extra goofy today
The PKA (among other scopes) can see through certain parts in maps, mainly windows and fences, with some more notable examples being those white tarps in Industry that people love to snipe from. I find this as a great alternative to the comp aimpoint, as it does not have this feature.

4:56 my guy that’s not eye relief that’s scope shadow lmao. Eye relief is how far away your eye is from the scope. Scope shadow is when you’re not looking through the center of the scope so you’re seeing the inside of the scope which is the shadow you see
I use the Electra on the new because then I get a great scope because no eye relief when I'm prone and I get a laser for no scopes so I have an attachment slot for anything else I want
I play a lot of ww2 games and the snipers in those game all have the same kind of radicle as the mosin scope and the z24 so i mostly use those cause im use to them
interesting fact, the scope you see on the g36 series of guns, yeah its detachable and can be put on other guns, it being an hk product though makes it cost 1200$. did some research cause i saw a guy on youtube mount one on a gm6 lynx

im using vcog x6 as my main scope on intervention, and i feel like its the best bcs it doesnt have anything useless closing ur view, x6 is enough to do some long ranged snipes, alt is also good.i tried out vcog x8 recently and not gonna lie its crosshair should be reworked cuz it looks quite bad

You can actually use the Hensoldt 3x on more guns than just the G36 series, like i rememeber i actually used it for a good bit of time on my Scar-L

The PSO-1 SCOPE is great ever since they added an alt scope on most sniper scopes, the acog scope became unusable to me tho.
