Cried right along with you, Alice. Have so much hope for future generations of women to find their voices much earlier than we did/could. Thanks for being so open and honest in your reaction

I love the Linda Lindas so much. I would love to see you guys react to their other videos. "Growing Up" shows so much...well, growth, in a short amount of time.

New to me. Like that they choose the topic to make a song. Like the deep bass being prevalent but hope their vocals get better as they age because I couldn't listen to this more than a couple times.

Yeah it's pretty raw. But that's also why we don't listen a lot of true punk or hardcore. Definitely excited to see where they go from here

Sorry Alice for that happening to you in your childhood.

I just now discovered your channel. This video is cool, I like your analysis. I agree, this song is direct and real. And it's a protest song. That is what is lacking in the corporate rock world. On a related note, I came to the conclusion that the reason that "alternative" music developed was that mainstream culture was regressive and bigoted. So an alternative culture developed, built by people who were sensitive to the regressive culture, and wanted to oppose it...

So talented, they've opened for Bikini Kill and have fans in Tom Morello, Kathleen Hanna and Billy Joe Armstrong and Ken Casey to name a few. They make my old cynical punk heart happy.

I enjoyed it. And the collective voice that it speaks for. I just hope the WWWY audience doesn't eat them alive with toxicity. If the crowd tries, I hope these young women turn it around and make a song about it 🤘
