I have been to Ethiopia around 7 times and plan to visit again I like technology isn't rampant everybody isn't on there phone people question when they see people walking around recording videos is respectable. I don't want it to be like us in the West and Asia people stuck on there phones and not socializing. Ethiopians are friendly. Transportation and housing are very expensive in Ethiopia. That is why I am not moving there anytime soon 😢. I love the country but the system needs an update.
every time you greet people in the streets you're also attracting those who ask money. Sometimes you have to avoid such unwanted attention. Especially trying to engage them with a conversation is a recipe for disaster. But the people are generally nice. It's just that they assume you've a lot of money since you're a foreigner.
