I love this video, for the burrito roll, i wish there was two different colors so i know exactly what is going under and coming out! Cause its so confusing lol
Noted for next time, thank you!! A tip is that the skirt self fabric is the one that you gathered and the lining is the one that you didn’t, hope that helps :)
love this, could you make the dress version, like the ones that are super thigh and a super small verssion of the skirt attached at waist length, also what's the length you recommend for this skirt
Thank you so much for this detailed video! I am thinking of doing a longer version of this skirt, do you have any advice on how to lengthen it with the existing pattern?
You can totally make a longer version! The trick is that whatever measurement you lengthen the skirt self pattern by, you have to do the same for the lining :) the current skirt pattern sits at 13 inches so just add however much you want to that
I would go two inches down on the side seams and place inseam pockets & have it sit in between the self and the lining! You can find inseam pocket patterns online :)
I am having major trouble with the burrito method… would the center front and center back notches signify the ending of the hem? I feel like I’m unrolling my fabric as I’m pinning and messing up the length.. is this possible? I don’t think it helps that I used satin 🫤
Best tutorial yet! The burrito method is so confusing but ur video and diagrams r super helpful! Thanks for all ur hard work on this!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words 🥹🫶🏼

The link is in the description of the video! It’s available at notparmis.com
this seems pretty thorough which I appreciate but I feel like the "burrito" part is gonna throw me off. 😭 thank you for this video though!
The burrito method looks much harder than it is! But totally understand - let me know if you have any questions in the future :)
Hi! What would be the best way to add pockets to the skirt?

Hi! there is a size chart with measurements on the listing post in my website :)
how much fabric is needed for a size small? I want to make sure I have enough fabric before buying the pattern !
You need 1 1/2 yards for the self and 1 yard for lining for any fabric that has 54-60” width!
This is quite random but for a second, i thought you were the same person from the viral Ikea Asmr video. Your voices are so similar
LOL can confirm I’m not
I've literally followed your tutorial up until the burrito roll and now I just have a blob of fabric.. helpppp please?🥺👉👈
