Amazing looking breakfast and loved the review as always. That part where Dustin first misspoke the name of his omelet cracked us up! Glad you left that in the video. Thanks for continuing to share your adventures and experiences in and around the Smoky Mountains. 👍
We were in Gatlinburg March 9th-12th for the clogging convention, we go every year. The wife and I share the black bear skillet. That’s alot of food. That week it snowed and places were closed or delayed opening. So we ate there twice for breakfast before going to the convention. Win/win situation. The cinnamon rolls are to die for also. Always had a great experience there and the staff is excellent. We noticed people park at the park grill when going to Crockett’s. They could be owned by the same people.
@@SmokyMountainFamily I've eaten at Log Cabin since 1979, it's consistently awesome. We usually visit 2-3 weeks a year and have never had a bad meal. IMHO, the biscuits at CBC are horrible. Hardee's have better biscuits! On a side note, I wish TH-cam was a thing back then, by now I'd have enough videos to start my own channel! I've pretty much driven on every surfaced road in the area and stayed at most motels in Gatlinburg (some are gone now). G'Burg is our go-to when we need a respite!
Thanks for the review. They have always had sparce parking out front. This location used to be Maxwell's and we used to go every year for date night. A nice steak house that offered Caesar salad and flaming Bananas Foster or Cherries Jubilee desserts prepared tableside, loved it! And now we enjoy Crockett's Breakfast Camp every year.
We ate here last summer and really enjoyed our breakfast. 😋 We had a family of 5 adults and our bill was over $100. 😯♥️😋 My favorite was the corn beef hash and it was the best I have had in a restaurant. 😋 I agree with you Eric on the cons to this place. Thanks for sharing ♥️🤗
Oh my...my diet better start soon! Lol We are going to try this with our grandson when we visit this summer....yum!Looked delicious 😋Those are some thick pancakes! Gotta try. Those biscuits too!
That food looked so good. With inflation I think you might find that pricing across the board now. So anyone taking a vacay should plan that in their budget it they plan on eating out a lot. This is the best breakfast I've seen so far.
Their breakfast is the best in Gatlinburg. Everything is always so fresh and delicious. Their prices seem to be fair for the amount of food you get. We think that everything at Crocketts is always consistent and they are always so nice.
we have been there twice. the last time i got the corned beef hash. it was very good. first time i got an omelet. it was delicious and huge. i ended up taking half home. i am not a fan of the big fat pancakes. the cinnamon roll is good to try once, but once was enough for me. it is a great place to take company to see what they think of it.
We have been hearing about the corned beef hash going to have to try it next time. You are right about the cinnamon roll. Thanks for watching Michelle we appreciate you
Great video! We have ate there once they have very good food, but are expensive. We got into Pigeon Forge today and are staying until Thursday, hope to see you around sometime.
We used to go here multiple times during vacation, but now we've gone a few trips without visiting. It's not really their fault, because we love the food a lot. The reason is we go out for breakfast maybe only twice, and reserve the other days for cheaper options, like The Donut Friar, or even Tennessee Jed's and their fantastic $6 breakfast sandwiches. So many good restaurants here, so you really can't go wrong. Great review!
It was great to meet all of you guys in person while waiting outside Crockett's. My wife and I agree with your ratings. Thanks for introducing us to the Riverhouse at the Park. It was great. Maybe we will run into you guys again. Thanks!
Hi family. We 've always gone to Log Cabin. Every time we've driven passed Crockett's the line has been huge. We'll be down in 3 weeks and this will be a breakfast stop for sure. Not telling my son about the pancakes til we get there, lol.
I love this place. I love the scenery. We just went 2 weeks ago and for 2 adults and 2 small children we paid almost $70. But it really was amazing. We took leftovers with us and had it again that night.
It was soooo good we heard good things but that was next level…with a price of course lol we should have brought the left overs. Thanks for watching Martha we appreciate you

Sorry for the late response. Catching up on comments lol. For sure hit Anakeesta. Greenbrier would be the ultimate date night. Drive into the park at night and listen to a river or go stargazing. Especially that last one. Hope you guys have a good trip and hope this helps!
Hello Smoky mountain family from Columbus Ohio.. I was down in pigeon forge Friday night I hung out at the coaster with Jeff and Miss Marie.. sorry I couldn't meet up with you guys.. as a suggestions I know it's not up in your area but you need to check out the new buc-ee's in Kentucky I stopped by there Friday on the way down to Tennessee and on my way back home to Ohio yesterday. You definitely have to get some beaver nuggets they are very delicious
we are getting our own buccees. the biggest one ever is being built. i don't think it will be ready till next year. i can't wait to try it. i live in sevierville. it is going to be at exit 407 right off the interstate
@@john195316 i understood that. i was just letting you know that we will soon have our own huge, new buccees where he will not have to drive so far to see one.
Great review and fun video; that is a pricey breakfast, but it seems the food quality/quantity made it more than a fair price. Log Cabin is our favorite, but we may give Crockett’s a try sometime.
We have to go to Crockett’s every time we are in the Smokies! I love the atmosphere which is so interesting and makes you feel like you are in the pioneer era. We only go once while we are there because that is all we can afford. It is definitely expensive but you get alot of food too. We go around 7-7:30 in the morning so parking is not that bad. We usually park in front of The Peddler restaurant on the road and it is free. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the video! I am in Ky wishing I was there so your videos is the next best thing!! Always a great job!
We seen people parking there Louise good to know for next time because we parked at noc and was hoping to not get towed lol that’s what we normally did too when we vacationed we went out for breakfast once
You should do a top 3, 5,8, or 10 breakfast restaurants in the area!!! One of big things is breakfast when we travel. We usually skip continental breakfast to go to a good local or small chain breakfast joint. And we are look at going back to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville in December... Another idea, what to do in the area each month. Love your videos. You guys are normal, not Instagram "pretty (fake)", folks on fun adventures!!!
I live 6 hours away, great for me with gas prices right now. Breakfast is something I can skip, so many great lunch and dinner places there, plus The Riverhouse free breakfast is perfect for me!.....Love those donuts!....Still love the pancake pantry!....Thanks!
I love Crocketts breakfast camp yes its hard to park and yes t food is high priced it is well worth it been thre three times so far definitely will be back soon
We enjoyed it when we were there in March. I didn't think the price point was too bad compared to the Apple Barn Sawyers and the other pancake place we tried in Gatlinburg. We usually expect to pay 30 to 40 for two adults for breakfast. You are right about the parking. We were staying on the strip in Gatlinburg so we walked from the hotel. They were the only ones that opened up at 7am.
I thought it was unique and had what I thought was closest to mountain type food the past would've been like but that was when it first opened. I still think the food is great but then I tried Timbers log cabin restaurant in arts and crafts community which I'm sure you're familiar with. We tried Timbers this year bc Joshie and Stacy had it on their channel. Our favorite breakfast to date! I hope you review it some time in the near future. My husband and I agree timbers has the best grits we've ever ate! We do add butter and sugar to it 😉

We were there for the first time in December. I was so excited to try the cinnamon roll. I had seen many videos raving about it. VERY disappointed. 😭 First one looked over cooked and was dry. She brought us another that looked better but still...no taste at all. Icing had no sweetness at all. Definitely the worst cinnamon roll I have ever had. Left it on the table. That being said...the rest of the food was good. Loved the decor inside. The pancakes were amazing!!!
