Bartoli was awesome, and my favorite player for a long time. Such a great fighting attitude, and she turned herself into a Grand Slam champion! I wish her all the best in her health crisis
Самый лучший матч в исполнении Бартоли на грунте!!! И такая важная победа! А ведь кто-то говорил что Марион не умеет играть на песке, вот и получили за свои слова!
Exactly. Which is why even though she maxed out as an lower top 10 player, she had wins over literally everyone. She had wins in her career against a total of like over a dozen current and former world number 1s in her careers. She was a player that, with her fighting attitude, when she was having a good ball sticking day, she had the capacity to beat literally anyone.
@@b-man-2H hmm.. quite true.., but Justine’s henins shock defeat at Wimbledon while leading.. do u think that was more of a big crack down on Justine it more Bartoli being next level ? Also how do u explain henin destroying Bartoli on fast court so clearly with a 6-0, 6-0 score? How could henin run away with it so insanely?
@@justineandserena Starting with Wimbledon. I think it was a combo of both. If you watch the highlights, Bartoli played much more aggressive in the 2nd half of the match than the first. Henin also had a bit of a dip in play. As for as the end of year championships goes, Henin pre-wimbledon and Henin post-wimbledon in 2007 were 2 totally different players. Post wimbledon Henin in 2007 was unstoppable! And my main point was that Marion could best anyone when she was playing well. She could of course have bad days and she was much more prone to injury than most top 10 players for sure.
@@b-man-2H yes that’s true.. but I think the 2007 Wimbledon semi finals was henin having low expectations of Bartoli .. an not closing it Also yes some credit to Bartoli fir winning Wimbledon years after.. Shane Justine didn’t win her Wimbledon crazy
@@justineandserena Yeah, in the wimbledon semi Henin got too comfortable and off her toes and didn't close it out. Then Bartoli started hitting the ball harder, deeper, and with more angle and turned it around. Bartoli earned her Wimbledon title. Her haters say it was a fluke but you can only beat who is in front of you and she did. She had also made the finals in 07 and a French Open semi in 2011. You dont have that many deep runs but when you win its a fluke. I think Henin didn't utilize her backhand slice enough at Wimbledon. The low bouncing and slick grass makes a slice very effective. Hence Graff's countless Wimbledon titles. Henin's slice also floated more than Graff's did but still.

Bartoli is a fighter and funny on court to watch

Bartoli was very dangerous when she was hitting with this timing an impeccable placement of the ball. Very tough
