Wow the video turned out great! Talk about a great day of fishing, still amazes me with how much we caught and still able to beat our last record. Hopefully we can continue to beat it! Such a great time spending time with family, hopefully we could get some more of our family out to come enjoy the ice fishing with us!
Really love seeing kids out enjoying the sport. When I first started ice fishing not a lot of people participated. I hate the crowds here in Colorado now but I’m torn in my hate 😆 I like that I do see a lot of families and a lot of kids spending time together like that. People end fishing posts and comments by saying “Tight Lines”. I’m trying to start a new one for ice fishing so I’ll end with this. “Keep your rods on the ice”
Did you guys measure the ice depth? Also on your fish finder, did it say what your depth was? I ask cuz i show as of today 12/16/2022 that Scofield is about 18% full.... Also that first fish you showed looked to be a Cutthroat not a Rainbow. Nice fish nonetheless! After watching the whole video, looks like all Cutthroats, looked like a damn fun time.
On this weekend, we made the video the ice was 7 inches, and it's much more now. Hope to go back tomorrow. We first started out fishing more in the middle like 18 ft deep then moved closer to shore it was 10 ft deep on the fish finder. There was a bunch of nice fish 18 to 22inchs . Thanks for watching.
