We rent our house out cheaply to our daughter and live in one of similar size and standard. 18 months on the road, currently in The Pyrenees - still working 'full time'! Can't see us ever going back to bricks and mortar (health issues aside)
That sounds like an amazing lifestyle! Living on the road for 18 months while still working full-time is impressive. The freedom of being able to explore beautiful places like the Pyrenees must be incredible. It's inspiring to hear that you can't see yourself returning to a traditional home - it’s a testament to how fulfilling van life can be!
I'm glad you like the layout! It's indeed a great use of space for a motorhome this size. As for the leaking, it's important to keep up with regular maintenance to ensure everything stays in top condition. In general leaks are little problem on modern campers. Have a great day.
Thank you for teasing us Americans with...er posting your videos of these European camper vans. 😁 If RVs of similar layout and build quality had been available in the US instead of the poorly built Frankencoaches we are stuck with I would have bought one years ago. Instead I'm going a different route. Kudos to you, though for a nice walkthrough!
Thank you for the kind words! It’s true that European camper vans often have a different approach to layout and build quality. I hope you find the perfect fit for your travels, even if it’s a different route! Maybe one day these styles will be more common in the US! An alternative might also be to import one😊
@@BobilagentenAS I thought about that. Besides the cost, the availability of parts and service killed that idea. But Wingamm made it across the ocean so maybe others will, too. 😃
Excuse me for mentioning this but the only problem I ever seen with these motorhomes is the payload you put a tin of beans in half tank of water and you’re right up to the top of the payload that’s why I drive something that’s near or there about six ton
I see what you're saying. Payload capacity is definitely an important factor to consider with motorhomes. It's true that some models have limited payload, which can be a challenge when packing for a trip. That's why opting for a motorhome with a higher payload, like this with total weight on 3.800kg or 4.250kg, can be a smart choice if you need the extra capacity.
It's a fantastic unit, but I understand the preference for an automatic transmission. It is also possible to get them with automatic transmission for those who want it.
@@BobilagentenAS The three things missing were Thetford oven grill and Gas/Electric hob. Automatic transmission along with 180 bhp engine. And I'd uprate the unit to 5 tonne as I do intend on living in the unit for two years whilst I travel Europe. As for solar and lithium I'd update that myself along with an ac unit. Loved the double floor as I do plan on going Artic.
@@parasinthephilippines It sounds like you have a clear vision for your ideal camper setup! It is possible to upgrade these campers to 4.250 kg total weight if desired. Adding an oven grill, a gas/electric hob, and opting for an automatic transmission with a 180 bhp engine would definitely enhance comfort and convenience. Updating the solar and lithium systems, along with installing an AC unit, would make the camper truly self-sufficient for long-term living. The double floor feature is perfect for those cold Arctic adventures. It seems like you’re planning an epic journey!
Thanks for watching. I understand your point. While many people do choose to live full-time in a camper, it’s not for everyone. A camper offers the freedom to explore without hotel costs, but it might not replace the comfort and stability of having a permanent home for everyone. Have a great day.

That is possibly the best layout I’ve ever seen on a motorhome that small just as long as it doesn’t leak?

Having looked at the vid a third time with my partner it really is ( bar the small hanging wardrobe) it really is a very good use of the space

upweight to 4250kg and go for it. 22 years of motorhoming and it's never been an issue
Yo lo haría mañana mismo si tuviera dinero.
Let's do it together. I can buy it but I need a partner.
¡Te entiendo perfectamente! Es un sueño que muchos compartimos. Ojalá se haga realidad pronto. 🌟
Lovely unit.
Sadly lost me at the manual transmission.

No why because a house is the first place I live before this camper van this is just for going to a place that you don't have to pay a motel or hotel

These Motorhomes are not for full-time living they are for long weekends and so forth..
