Ahaa, I was right. We had lunch on day 2 at Ghare Baire.. the food was quite good. And on day 1 We ate at Amar Kutir Hensel ghor...reasonable and good food! A hidden gem I would ask people to try is Amoli cafe. A tad expensive but FABULOUS food! Not the usual Bengali food, it's a proper posh cafe 😅 We were unlucky because Udayan and the other premises were shut during our visit, only the museum was open.

You missed one place called Kashara the cafe..it's located near sangeetbhavana..next time try their food and ambiance...I am sure you will love their food and the environment too..My house is 22 km far from santiniketan but we go there often when we get enough time.. it's very nostalgic for me that you guys visited to Santiniketan..Thank you @Sinful Foodie for coming here..❤❤
