That’s a problem… He also can’t hit the side of a barn, and 2 posts = zero shots on goal. If he’s in your top 6, this team isn’t serious about playoffs.
Community rinks always have better ice. It's harder and stays in for months. NHL rinks...have multiple events on the surface; NBA games, concerts etc. Boards either go on the ice or the ice is taken out depending on the event. Community rinks usually have thicker/ more layers of ice, which also makes it harder & faster.
Everybody simmer down! This is still the pre season. We have a new coach, new system, new bodies. Give the team some time to gel and whoever doesn’t adapt are the players who will be moved out. I know us Sens fans are traumatized from the last 7 years , but trust the process 🤝
The ice in Sudbury looked great especially on TV. The video was amazingly clear and bright too. Don’t know why Gally kept complaining about the low light.
Sudbury lad checking in here boys - the ice is always A++ in Sudbury, and I love the acknowledgement. Cheers (It was 26 degrees here yesterday before all the comments come flooding in you clowns 😂).
I love Forsy but he didnt look good last night. What worries me more is there's nobody to step up if he's faltering. Soggy worries me more at the NHL level. I have knees of glass so I can appreciate his injuries
We were told Norris was 100%. If that is true why isn't playing games? The whole idea of exhibition games is for players to have a chance to get experience playing on the same line so they are not at a disavantage when they play in real games agaisnt teams that have done so.
Does it really matter if a guy gets hurt in pre season as opposed to the first game of the season? Is there more risk in pre-season than regular season?
The Ottawa Sens right now are NOT a team that will make the playoffs. They look like amateurs, even their top line played like rookies. Defense is still a mess, and now their offense looks worst than last year. The goalie Ullmark, well hard to say from 1 game, but at least he looked solid on that game. And Yakemchuk seems like the only player that stands out as an NHL elite. RECAP!!! Ullmark and Yakemchuk = Great The rest = get your sh1t together! Everyone is tired of the excuses. Management needs to put on their big boy pants, make crucial decision that focus on one thing only: BUILD AN NHL PLAYOFF TEAM!
I agree. How come every goalie has played a full game but Ullmark only plays half a game and didn’t play yesterday. The Defenseman doesn’t look good at all. Sanderson and yack have been the best. But they will send yack back. So that leaves Sanderson. I know this is still preseason but not as pumped as I was. Chabot still sucks. Stutzle is still trying to make too many moves instead of just playing basics. My feeling is they will not make the playoffs again. So ullmark will not resign and Brady will want out. That’s just my opinion at this point. I really hope I am wrong.
I fully disagree with Macewan looking good this preseason. Not the case, he isn't a possession guy at all. Hurts the cycle. He always has turnovers too. He should be Bellville bound
Sup boys 🍻 for Jenik or Ostap, id say keep Ostapp in Ahl this season to marinate and get better (are precious draft pick) lol and for Jenik! Throw him in this season, see what he can do!! I believe its better for Ostapp to develop more and the next season hell be 100% ready. What you think?
I wanted to tear my eyes out watching that effort. I’ll start to panic if they play like that in reg season. Hopefully it’s a one off but bad habits are still habits…
I prefer Yak over JBD. JBD has the shot accuracy of Brannstrom.
I agree. He needs his nine games
Surprisingly decent game from Hamonic yesterday too. Looked far more mobile and even jumped into some rushes.
That’s a problem…

I’m loving Jenik’s game. Ostapchuk is surprisingly quick, haven’t seen him do much with it though.

Don't bring Simmer into this!

If Yakemchuk has a good game. We can sing "They could have been yours!!!"
Norris was at practice on Saturday's Fan Fest.

I’m afraid yesterday looked like more of last season lads. Worrying.
At least Forsberg hopefully won't have to play many games in the actual season. An injury to Ullmark would be nightmare material.

@@buddha6954 did yall not see what happened to laine
Relax, it's a preseason game in a junior arena with weird corners and different benches.
Its pre-season...
vets aren't giving 100%
Short episode today boys
As much as I wasn't Yak to play, I think K Train has more of a purpose right now.

But this is the Gary way lots of games and a tough skeduel to eliminate the weaker teams from contention.
The ice in Sudbury is OHL size at least
Solid!
I'm in the center first camp!

Is Steady Steve going to be on the pod? 👀👀

Is that interview going to happen sometime this week?

Poor Ross - you sound sick!

Last year problems:
Bad passing.
PP couldn't score
Didn't play 60 minutes.
Last night's game must have been part of last year.
You are spot on. You can tell how the game is going to go based on the first 5 minutes and how good their passing is.
I wanted to tear my eyes out watching that effort.
