Nope, Chidori's alive canon-wise. It was confirmed by the time Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Junpei had a dream where he was a major league baseball player and he was gonna announce a proposal for Chidori to marry him. Also, it was confirmed that in Junpei's new design, that cross necklace he wears was a gift from Chidori, showing that Chidori and Junpei got together.

actually that was the anime the video game had 4 options. one of those 3 things would happen or you would give Youske a piggy back ride. depending on the number you called. So they don't mention it in this game.

If in a situation where Yu was the King, that would still mean that there was a 75% chance that Yu was going to get the girl. Out of all the people to read that poem, Akiheko, Chie, and Naoto executed it like a boss. Also Naoto should have said chocolate or spices. Why chocolate, cause well people do use that curry. I'm not kidding Black Butler has proof.
We get it he is a Chad we have been hearing this same joke for years at this point. It’s old, it’s stale it’s not even funny anymore. It’s literally the point of his character to be the funny popular guy. I like Yu but I hate how the community has treated his character, he’s meant to be a charming popular guy who only ever slightly gets SEES to blush, but what does the community do? They go to annoying lengths to call him a Chad for just existing. You know how Yu faired against the Persona 5 girls in Persona Q2? He got nothing out of them, not a single one of them blushed or anything. He was called mature and dependable by them and that’s it. Yukiko's reading is relaxed, mellow, sweet and extremely poetic. This one right here is my favorite. Yukiko's reading is clearly natural to the thematic poetic style. The music box, the atmosphere to Yukiko's is clearly the thing that will consider this as a ASMR or at least, a sleeping story. She have clearly did the satisfaction of handling good the etherical feels on the reading. Clearly, I have a flashback on Yukiko's flashback lines when Chie comes to her dungeon in Persona 4, it really makes me adding a chill down my spine. Yukiko is the winner on this one. Akihiko is good too on the deep and expressive. He is my close-second. Chie is decent, but the expressive and comical reading felt not relaxed for me. Since she is a cheerful and short-tempered girl, it could not be fitting in litterature styles in my opinion. But some of the parts of the phrases, it makes me wanna chuckle right on my throat. Naoto is clearly a bit monotone and slashed to me. It felt average to me.
"Yep, you sure didn't get it!" I get why some people didn't like this game, and I don't appreciate having my persona people reduced to caricatures of their regular selves, but still, you gotta admit that there were some seriously funny moments in this game.

Shinjiro had to read the poem in the P3 side in the PQ manga. The category was dog breeds, and when it was Shinjiro's turn, Koromaru came out of nowhere. Shinjiro got flustered and accidentally called out "Koro-chan," which led to him losing. Chie mentions having to read it in the P4 side.
The girls give off the vibes that they don't like you more than the other guys because the MC's are so charming its just because they're the only guys who are normal comparatively.
You have to keep talking to Junpei in November this is for Persona 3 Fes and portable when Chidori doesn't want to speak to him and he has low confidence Makoto Minato helps him face her keep talking to him in November then Chidori will be revived later thats cannon especially in Arena Ultimax he wears her necklace when the Answer was made the directors didn't know what to do at the time with her so yeah it is officially canon in Ultimax
