One of my favorite, very overlooked song ( composed by Midori ). For me this is soooo Mr. Big ( this Band in Japan is like Beatles, they had several Gigs during 90' in Japan ). And i love Asami so much. If you love Asami too is time to take a look at 'Today is the Day' my friend, you will find the ultimate Version of our Queen ( you will understand, i don't want to spoiler anything to you ).

@@bigg2988 The way I understood it was also that it was the song where Asami was "auditioning" this group (not yet named), that their ability to perform it to her satisfaction, and willing to play it(!) was relevant to her committing to this band. I actually like it as much as any other LOVEBITES song. Not an easy song by any means! Also, it was chosen to be the closing song for their first ever LIVE show after naming themselves LOVEBITES, leaving the audience with the repeating choral refrain "Just Believe In Yourself" eight times! while Asami sings an R&B vamp !! In METAL !! I love the blends! I call "Inspire" "prog/metal/pop" because it is so unique and has features of each genre. More trivia, Asami's friend, guitarist ARAKEN composed & arranged the music (Asami the lyrics), this all before Asami met the other members. Last winter ARAKEN was the guitarist for Asami's Christmas LIVE Party that was streamed, and Hidehiro (Haruna's drum tech) was the drummer. Several other 'known' musicians were involved. Mao Yamamoto, frequent collaborator, formerly with Miho, also with Midori & Asami (on music) was the pianist at that Christmas show. This is a tight-knit group in the music scene. First time I heard this song my thought was 'This would have been a great song for the late great Tina Turner to do'. Every time I hear it I imagine Tina belting it out on stage.
Even they need one slower song in the middle if a show just to rest a little bit. But not more. They can do about hour and 45 min concert and they are doing it for years now. At this level its insane and not possible for most bands metal or not-but its Lovebites, its madness, its badass...
Yeah, in a way, the attitude and delivery and all, it almost seemed like they were lounging in this one, just having fun and radiating it to the audience. Especially Asami and Haruna could be perceived in a mode that says: "party"! And winks. ;)
In my opinion, the title is wrong and should be "Dancing with Asami". :) Jeez, even someone like me with 2 left feet, gets nervous here and might be tempted to let loose and dance with her. 😇😏 ... Let someone say again that rock/metal is only for headbanging and not suitable for dancing. Her performance is the stunningly perfect proof that it actually works very well together.
