The campfire in a can sounds interesting. I had no idea there we so many variations on container fuel campfires until now. The lava rocks are a pleasant surprise. I really like them. They disperse the flames well and look nice.
Thank You for the upload. How do you transport it ...with rocks still in it ? do they spill all over, or do you have to take them out each time you put it in the bag.
Yes, I believe so if you use a 1 lb to 20 lb propane tank adapter. With the fire ring on high, a 1 lb bottle of propane will last approximately 24 minutes using the following data and logic. (a) A gallon of propane contains 95,000 BTU's. (b) There are 0.236 gallons of propane in a full 1 lb cylinder, so there are 22,420 BTU's per 1 lb cylinder. (c) Output of fire ring is 55,000 BTU's per hour.
Approximately 8.11 hours using the following data and logic... (a) A gallon of propane contains 95,000 BTU's. (b) There are 4.7 gallons of propane in a full 20 lb cylinder, so there are 446,500 BTU's per 20 lb cylinder. (c) Output of fire ring is 55,000 BTU's per hour.
Burn time using a 20 lb propane tank is approximately 8.11 hours using the following data... (a) A gallon of propane contains 95,000 BTU's. (b) There are 4.7 gallons of propane in a full 20 lb cylinder, so there are 446,500 BTU's per 20 lb cylinder. (c) Output of fire ring is 55,000 BTU's per hour.

Very nice. We bought a campfire in a can which is similar. It came with a fake log in it but I like your lava rocks better. Thanks for the video! 🙂

Nice review 👍🏻. What is the noise level like with the Camp Chef? The Little Red in my opinion can be quite noisy in regards to its propane burn.
Thank you. Noise: level is low, and pleasant.

We transport it with the rocks still inside and put it in the bag. It is packed to stay upright during travel.
@@wobblyotteroutdoors That's awesome thank you very much. Safe travels !!
You're welcome. Happy trails.
Did you place both bags of Lava rocks inside the firepit or was that just 1 bag?
Augustine, both bags of the lava rocks were used.
Thank you for sharing. In your video, was the output set as max?
Thank you, JC. The propane output was not set to max in the video.
@@wobblyotteroutdoors thank you! i was just curious how big/high the flame gets at max

Would you be able to burn wood in this pit if you wanted to or would it potentially damage any of the gas intake hardware?
It isn't made for word fires. Not sure what damage would occur.
