@Lazvii you cant actually say that the character touma was made around in 2000-2001 but the novel was officially published on 2004 while air gear is published in 2002, when characters slightly looks the same in doesnt mean there copies of others there personalities even doesnt match the just look slightly the same because of there hair.
it's actually a spin off show called Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, focusing on the life of Mikoto. It's an ok show but there's only 2 or 3 episodes were Tōma appears. Though he is a badass when he shows up.
@PolynesianGirl13 of course, later in that particular episode her clones start appearing and you can tell they are her clones by their melotone voice and their lack of shorts.
@cody776 that's an episode toward the end of the first season of To Aru Majin no Index I. Touma saved Shocker from a hopeless fight and wins against the strongest ability user in Academy City =). It was epic
i also have a cheating technique you (and a friend) make a really long stick and sat the erin or food you want and then you carefully take it out then one of you screams out "victory"

i geuss railgun did ok for a spin but i perfer index more maybe if touma was more involved in the story i liked railgun but he only showed up like 6 times. and he didnt really do anything but like say hi and leave besides his fight with misaka and that scene at the mall he did nothing. while misaka was a big [art in index. but i really loved that 1 scene where touma sayw misaka on the tv in the swimsuit that was funny and my fav part of season 1

Railgun is focused on Misaka so obviously you won't see Touma more often. That was the whole point of the railgun series in the first place. Index is focused on Touma and his adventures. Railgun is focused on Misaka and her adventures.
