I think you did great! Empties are great but the progress that you made on your other items also matters! I just started project panning but I am saving my empties from this year to get an insight into how I use makeup and what I go through the most :)
I don't track the price anymore as so much of my collection is so old I couldn't even find how much stuff used to cost 🥲 but I track everything else and one of the reasons I love your channel so much is that your usage and empties are similar to mine. You seem go through makeup as fast as me and I feel I wear a lot of makeup but it just doesn't seem to move. Not saying other channels fudge their numbers but I am perplexed at how much makeup some people go through in a given time.
It's always surprising how much time it takes to empty make up products. It's a reminder not to Overbuy. I think you did great for having a rough year. This is my first year ever saving my makeup empties and it's been fascinating. One thing I've been doing lately is putting on eye shadow, Lipstick, And blush even if I'm not going anywhere and don't want to wear a full face. Those are quick and fun to add color to the face, but very easy to wash off at night.
I had a rough year last year too and definitely used wayyy less and this year I have this persistent pink eye so I haven’t wore eye make up since January. I’m super focusing on moisturizing and doing masks and stuff to make up for it!😊

Oh no!!!! I had pink eye earlier this year too. It went around our house 😓 I hope it resolves soon!
