My problem with the eyeshadow palette in the same color way was it fades quickly and in order to maintain color needs to be reapplied. When reapplied it stacks and becomes a powdery mess on my lids. My skin hangs over more and my eyes are sunken now so it truly is a mess. I found that foundation looked best without powder-like any powder products. I gave it away because the tackiness wasn’t something I could handle wearing. I’m sensitive to touch, feel, smell, etc. But I did think it had a nice look. A little heavy in fluorescent lighting perhaps. I also wondered what the primer in the same line did with it. If I were you I’d try the look again with these changes 1. For concealer mix foundation and concealer to blend texture and color 2. No powder products 3. Apply eyeshadow once 4. Use your lip product as a cream blush I like the lip color with overall look. Good job!

I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Lasted all day for me which I was actually pleasantly surprised. They sometimes are a hit and a miss!
I think you need some colour correction for your under eye areas. Maybe the Pixi peach pot corrector? They should layer nicely under the Maybelline Age Correct concealer, which I love as it is light weight.

As far as your lower lashes go, you could try a brow mascara with a tiny little brush - maybe Elf's Wow Brow in a dark brown instead of black -? Maybe change out the dark liner on the top for a smudged grey or dark brown, it might let us see more of the nice eyeshadow color? I love that eyeshadow kit too, but I've learned the hard way to keep shimmer shades away from the inner corner. Love the choice of blush! And the lavender top is your color. Happy New Year!😊

They are not just short they are nonexistent 🤷♀️ I have tried different shades of eyeliner but they just don’t work….if I use a dark banded lash it shows if I use a clear band it shows as well. This, unfortunately, is a battle I’ve tried to win since I started wearing makeup at 12 years old. My dogs are the bomb aren’t they? 😍
I agree, the powder doesn't enhance, I don't like it. The foundation looks very nice. Your idea to try a lighter eyebrow pencil is a good one. You're very fair. A lighter shade would complement your coloring. I think a lighter, softer eyeliner might be better too. I got some good tips and product suggestions, thank you.
You know what I've found going into my 40s? Powder is really for the very young. If you find your makeup TOO "dewy" or you feel like you put way too much highlighter , dipping your brush as lightly as you can in a very VERY fine milled talc free powder, she then tapping the brush until you don't even see anymore on it. Once it looks like you tapped it all off, bounce that very lightly over the area you want to marttify sets just the effect of the brush with the bristles having the powder on them a bit will zap up the excess shine without depositing any powder. Other than that, I've tried the too faced dewy powder, talc free "hydrating" powders, Hourglass, coty,wet n wild, I've tried pressed, you name it. When i was in highschool that stuff made my face look so smooth 😭. Now it shows me where my wrinkles are going to come in and shows me lines i never even knew i had.v so o do not let myself used it no matter how strong the impulse is ib an going for full makeup 😅. Also another technique I've found is that foundation in general as over the face has three same effect powder does.. it does not enhance. I use a small amount of brightener (tatcha pearl is what i use it works wonderful for aging skin) , and once it's activated i work it a little farther down but other than covering the slight redness i have my skin bare of any other foundation or concealer and use cream blush and highlight. If you cut your lashes in half they will not weigh your eyes down so heavily and they will have an enhancimg effect and lift the appearance of hooded eyes PLUS they will not irritate you're eyes at all them especially by the inner corners!!!

The powder in this video is hideous as I mentioned. 🤦♀️The half lash trick I know works for many people with hooded eyes and looks amazing, but for me? I have no eyelashes at all so that would leave me with a half bald lid. I have worn lashes since I was in my teens and I love how they look and have never had trouble with irritation the only problem I have ever had with them is that if I cry? Like me your undereye is the biggest problem child. That concealer you tried, I threw away after first use. It made me look like the crypt keeper. As soon as you used it, and it made all your lines pop out. Keep that skin hydrated and use a moisturizing concealer, and a color corrector. That foundation is pretty good for women of our age.
Everyone RAVED about that rewind concealer... EVERYONE. It looked just awful on me. I tried and tried but dang if it didn't make my under eyes look like cracked desert. The Flower beauty and Catrice true skin have been the best for me so far out of the ones I've tried. I'm on a tight budget and I haven't tried any of the high-end ones, which, in theory should be better. But unless a product is going to make my skin look 25 years younger, i cannot bring myself to spend a crap ton of goo to slap on my face, you know 😜

I think the foundation and concealer highlighted and caked your eye area, and I think powder is not good. The best thing was the bronzer and blush. I would skip the foundation and focus more on the bronzer and blush.

For lower lashes I use Maybelline Lash Discovery mascara. It has the small wand and works good for me. And my 10 year old granddaughter!

Milani conceal & perfect is a more liquidy formula. I threw out that other one too. It’s too thick for my under eyes.
