Just put mine in my Trax. Took like five minutes after watching you do it. I'm lucky in that my seats are mostly black so it blends in quite well. Now to fill it full of stuff. LOL. LUV IT!
I have a 2018 Chevy Trax LT (100% Same vehicle different name) I am gonna see about getting that! Right now I used zip ties, and a piece of foam it works great but that looks better
I agree, the stock armrest seems like an afterthought by Buick. This one is the right idea considering the space limitations and only the driver’s seat having mounting holes. My only concern is that the armrest should sit about an inch and a half closer to the drivers seat. It looks like it’s snug against the passenger seat and bot “ centered “ between the seats. I like the extra storage, the angle adjustment and the ease of installation. The 2013-2019 Buick Encore has many “ issues “ most of which Buick never remedied, such as plastic coolant system parts that don’t hold up over time and the dreaded PCV system as well as a poorly designed oil line for the turbo that runs behind the exhaust manifold and is notorious for plugging up. I thought a I had done some decent research before we bought our 2019 by asking over a half dozen people with 3-5 year old Encores/ Trax/ Cruze etc. and all of them loved their car as well as stating they hadn’t had any issues. Then I looked at some TH-cam videos and was shocked at how many turbos, thermostats, coolant lines and intakes as well as valve covers have been replaced and replaced a 2nd time. It’s almost criminal that GM didn’t fix those issues over the years and doesn’t provide a warranty coverage that extends past 3 years on these issues. The arm rest is not such a big issue but now it’s a fairly inexpensive and easy repair.

I agree. I find that passengers don't even realize they don't have an armrest and use the driver armrest instinctively. This makes it so much more usable!
Pricey, but a good upgrade. They have to be shipped from spain for $60.. Yes, if your a larger man the stock armrest is too close, my arm rests on the side of it and rolls off.. really no good.. they really should have made the car just a couple inches wider and put a real console in.. I just recieved mine and got unlucky. they sent wrong one. There's 2 different part numbers V01488 and V01519 Our car takes V01519 . Hoping to get a good response if they will take care of me since there international. Since they even asked if I had armrest or not. Figured this info would help anyone else trying to get one
Same experience. The eBay seller was very great about going above and beyond to make sure to clarify that the armrest that I needed is replacing the existing stock armrest, otherwise you will be sent the wrong item as they make a separate armrest part that is specified for vehicles that are NOT replacing a stock armrest. Word of warning, this part is from a European supplier. The same vehicle that we know of as a Buick Encore in the USA, is actually called an Opel Mokka in Europe. Same exact car, different marketing. Hope that helps people as they search for a new arm rest that is compatible with a Buick Encore vehicle. I love the car so far, but the armrest is truly a remarkable error in design and this armrest in the video does an amazing job correcting said design blunder.
I hope they can work it out.. i almost made the mistake until i read the description very carefully.. i wonder how the one with no armrest mount works? Did they ship the wrong one or did you buy the wrong one?

Buying a used 2018 Honda Encore and as sure as hell will be throwing the crap sh#### pathetic arm rest the idiot who created that idea out and getting a reasonable nice large one for me and passengers.

For me the biggest issue with the arm rest is how high up it is. I just cant use it comfortably.
I have a 2019 white encore and I love this. My son likes to use the armrest for himself in the passenger seat and I have to fight him for space.
