Thanks for watching!
This guy is living my dream retirement- getting away from people living in an RV with my 2 dogs, living cheaply, seasonally traveling to higher elevations to keep cool. 😊
You and me both
Amen
I got to figure out how to do this now. Im 40. I have to figure out how to get at least 2k a month coming in . Any ideas ?
@@rubiconoutdoors3492we’re all wondering!
Think again. That Quartzsite get packed with wall to wall people. Dirty and dusty. Line up for everything. Steer clear. Much better places to be.
I'm very pleased to call Rob my friend. We camp near each other, along with other friends. Rob is a very helpful sort, who recently got a mutual friend's hot water heater working again. It's very true what they say: Nomads are always willing to help other nomads. And a good many of us have Bob Wells to thank for our peaceful, friendly lifestyle.
I'm the friend he helped with my water heater (no more public showers LOL). We are all camped close to each other. Rob is such a giving person. I am going on four years full time and find most nomads are caring people but Rob is exceptionally helpful.
Lisa and I are best friends who are also political opposites and met just over a year ago. But we are almost inseparable. This lifestyle is absolutely the best.
What lycanthropy are you at? I’m looking for the future
Agreed! Kudos to Bob and original nomads like @authordebradickinson
It sounds like Rob is still working, but when he wants, and doing something he loves (for others). I'm so glad he's helping his friends.
Question who should not be or try the nomad lifestyle?
Hi Bob! I met you at 2023 RTR and it was a true pleasure. You've inspired so many of us to live the nomad life and for that I am eternally grateful 🙏. Also, thanks for doing a great feature on my friend Rob here. He's given me the grand tour of that Minnie Winnie and it's even nicer in person. Best regards to you, Rob and all of our fellow nomads..stay safe and see y'all down the road! 😀
Great to see how people are finding happiness outside of a “normal lifestyle “ and are able to live well on a lower income thanks to you Bob. I have followed you for years and I have always appreciated how you teach people to live with dignity even when they don’t have much money or a stick and bricks place to call home. You created a safety net for a society that doesn’t provide for the poor nor the elderly. Thank you for that!
Two wonderful people who make living in this world much better.
"We're political opposites. It doesn't matter." That part, one of the most important, difficult lessons to learn, bless him for being open to it. 💯❤️🙏
This brought tears to my eyes because this is exactly how I feel. The things that matter to me in a friend are; honesty, respect, loyalty, kindness, consistency, authenticity.... Unfortunately in our world today it seems that people look for reasons to dislike others rather than respect the difference in others.
I agree
Yes❤
I am so proud to call Rob my friend, since the 90s. Love you, Rob and Dottie and George. So glad to see this video! Great job. 😍
Bob has changed so many life's. ❤❤❤
Dottie is adorable! ❤
Lovely nice humble person
Wish him all the best of this beautifull chapter of his life.
Living anywhere but sticks and bricks is dream for many! Finally about to start start living my dream in couple of months. Follow your heart, and find your tribe. Very good interview, and tour. Thank you Bob. Very happy for this gentleman.
Bob, you are changing the world, one Dottie at a time.
It's funny. I see all this vanlife content, all these people who have insane vans. But only Bob's channel gives of that sense of freedom.
Without spending insane amounts of money.
@user-rr7bv6my4e its warm in the desert SW year around thats the big difference.
I had not run across Rob‘s channel but I ran across him at the dump station one day and that’s when I started watching him. Like Rob I’m stationary I’m in Laposa North, and I never have to move my rig for any reason. This is my second year here and I parked in the same place I was last year. I met a group of people that have been in this area and enjoyed it so much. I came back.
Good on you for taking it on. Enjoy your freedom, your travel and most importantly enjoy your life. Kudos to you.
What a nice set-up! I’m currently in a truck camper and by next year I’m hoping to emulate his travel plans. I’m beginning my last travel RN assignment, have a camp host position lined up for the summer at higher elevations in Utah, then I will be DONE! Love AZ and bought a NM annual pass. Ready for take off!
I was a travel nurse, 10 or 11 assignments , long before finding CheapRVLiving. Housing was usually miserable. In southern NJ Roaches literally fell on my head one night in a rental townhome and would be so loud scurrying around in the bathtub that I could hear them. I wish I had known about forms of truck camping. . I could have saved money and been happier.
Very well done. Loved his personality
Whether a pull trailer or other tiny living space, for me it seemed such a waste to live in 1200 sq.ft. I'm not actually 'out there" yet what with shoulder replacement surgery coming right up. But living in a mobile small space makes so much sense to me.
You can tell Rob is a very happy content man and a wonderful dad to his fur babies. A very rich man. ☺️
Rob is living the dream, in my opinion. And love George and Dottie also. 😺🐶
What a great rig he has; it’s clean looking, spacious and lets in lots of light.
I love hearing these success stories of, after having worked hard all their lives, retiring and being able to simplify life and expenses. Thanks for sharing :)
And love the dog❤❤. Thank you for rescuing her.
Kudos to both of you, and his 2 companions. Living life free, as it should be.
"that big divide everyone talks about, out here the differences in opinion are here ...........but not the divide" Great nomad outlook
Thats really all a man needs. Nothing much else to say.
nice rig and very nice man thanks Bob😊
4:30. On the threshold of the rig, and I've seen all I need to see: Rob has hit upon the most important/profound aspect of this lifestyle. To enjoy and value the company of one's 'political opposite' - flies in the face of all the clickbait and media hatespeech, what a beautiful and inspiring message 😊 .....I'll watch the rest of the video now. Well done lads for modeling community values ❤❤❤❤
I don’t know how I missed this one, Rob is a fun guy to watch and listen to, very intelligent man and interesting, his friends are blessed and he is blessed to have some wonderful friends from what I have seen.
Gotta love Dottie and George ❤❤
Love your Minnie Winnie Rob lol
A very kind man, living that good life. Enjoy!!
what a great example of how we can come together while still having different opinions
As a 42 year old male, these videos always inspire me for what’s next! Thank you!
🐎🇺🇸🤠🐱🐂
Fortunately, we have Ranch Land in New Mexico for free camping.
An other nice video , I started to watch you years ago , always happy ,
So nice to see people like Norman having a wonderful life, thanks
Camper for 45 years you have to have a comfortable chair, sitting at a booth gets old so living in a camper a good chair is a must, yes the people you camp with and make friends with at campgrounds are a different kind of people, will help you do anything, when my kids were young they made friends for life in campgrounds we would meet up every summer! Another good video!😊
I have an orange tabby named George also! Your George is adorable!❤

My change of life is because of you too Bob. I'll be 69 this year. I just lost my husband Feb of last year. We were going to do this Nomad life together after we sell our property in WA state. But now with him gone, I still need to do this because 2.3 acres with a house and 3 buildings is too much for me to take care of. I'm currently living since Nov of last year in my Class C that I got off craigslist. A gem of a home!! I have redone the entire inside. I too ripped out the dinette area when I started on my remodel. I'm living in this in my sons driveway in Lancaster CA till I'm done renovating. I want to make sure (he also wants to make sure) I'm set up. My question is on the blueboy.... this man mentioned placing it empty in the bed of his truck. How do you fill it when it's above the gravity fed position? I want to get a blueboy but I sure can't lift it to go in the trunk of my 2014 Chevy Cruze that I'll be towing after it's full of waste. Very curious about that. Is there a pump that pumps it up to the position in his truck? Thanks so much for these great viewings Bob. I can't wait to meet up with you so I can show off my hard work. Who knew that I could do this kind of work? lol. Even with Wainscoting on my walls.
I believe that was the point of him showing the macerator. It has a pump so apparently he puts the blue boy up in his truck bed then runs the hose up to it and turns on the macerator as he empties his black and gray tanks. That pumps it all up. If I understood that correctly you could do it too.
What Id like to know is what do you do all day in this lifestyle? Do you have a home to go back to? In Australia we can't get "social security" until we are 67, so me at 64 has to keep on laying bricks each day.
That is my home
Just neverending wonderful vids from Bob showing how people have taken the leap to make a better life for themselves. Never gets old watching these inspiring vids! Hoping and planning that this will be the way I retire some day. As always, Thanks to Bob and every wonderful guest he interviews including this fine fella for the inspiration they put out into the world!
Thank you, Bob, for interviewing my brother Rob! It was so much fun to watch him explaining the nuts and bolts of his life in his mini Winnie as well as his descriptions of much of his Nomad lifestyle. Plus, it has been great to read all the comments from people he knows, from people who follow him, and from people who just learned about him from you. Rob’s admiration for you was also one of the hearts of his story, along with Dottie and George, of course!
We have a trailer also. This gives me some real good ideas. Thanks!!
Such a great video! I'm excited for him.
I loved when he speaks about there may be differences but no divide! Beautifully said!❤ awesome video!
I wish I was living his dream fantastic I am so jealous 😢precious Dottie
Hang in there. Your time will come.
I am subscribed to both of you channels. Keep up the good work guys.
Great, he needs to put covers to the tires of the camper. Nice setup with the incinerator.
This is my retirement dream!!! I would love it. It’s good to know that there are good people doing this!
Honest question: How do you spend your time on the day to day basis? Where do you get your groceries?
2 grocery stores in town and 2 discount dry goods stores. I spend my time just like anyone else. I run errands, do chores, make videos, chat with friends, work a little, take a nap, watch streaming TV, help friends - I could go on…
What a lovely rig and a lovely gentleman. Watching from Dublin Ireland. 🍀🍀😺😺🇮🇪🇮🇪💚💚🍀🍀
Very nice story!!
Always a good job.
You always meet the most interesting people.
On the road with Bob..
Great series
What a nice testament for what you do for others. Wonderful video. God bless
As a subscriber to both these channels, I loved this interview. I have been considering this lifestyle for a few years and I expect to join the community soon. I have learned and enjoyed CRVL for many years so a big thank you to Bob Wells. I also am enjoying the life of Rob on the "Travels with Dottie" channel as well.
This guy is cool. Would make a good friend.
Dam nice. Thank you Bob.
A question for Nomads. Would there be a business opportunity for a person to Move campers from place to place? For this Nomads that can't afford a nice big pick up truck to move their own trailer? For people that Can afford a camper trailer but Not Both a trailer And a Truck? Very good video with Rob! Nice set up!
I would think in Arizona that may be good.
Two of my favorite guys!!!
I been following his channel "travels with Dottie" I love his content on there great video I'm glad you caught up with him Bob!! Hope to see yall down the road soon
Love love his set up. ❤❤
Thank you so much! I have always wondered how to pump sewage uphill. I knew about the masserator, but I didn't know it was also a pump, or at least I can find one that is. Again, you do great work for we who need solutions.
Love your little precious doggie 🐶 ❤
Enjoy the travel trailer videos more than the others…this setup Rob has is awesome!
Thank you for sharing this inspiring video! ❤
George is living the dream! He a beautiful cat !
This was a good video, well done by both of you guys..I heard that Mini Winnie’s were well built compared to other RV’s. Thanks & best wishes to all 🙏👍
Great trailer. Very nice guy. Like the idea of rise free bath sponges. Learn something every time I watch one of your videos!
Luv Bob sooooomuch. ❤❤❤
What a great life! The smile on Rob's face is contagious. So happy to see him living a gratifying lifestyle
I absolutely loved this video! I’ve been looking for a way to finally travel south in the winter months, and this travel trailer idea just might be the ticket for me.
My oldest son (28) lives with his gf and my grand kitty full time in their RV, they rent a spot with full hookups, sewer, water, electric, plus a cinder block shed with hot water tank, full size washer & dryer for $700 a month in town. He saves so much $$$ even with paying rent on a spot. He works full time, but is saving to be able to travel one day. I'm envious of him. One day I'll be nomadic as well. I love the micro winnie!!! Y'all have the best life!!
I love your cat!❤❤❤ nice life..beauty of a house.
It was good to hear where he went to from April to September..... New Mexico sounds great as well.
I am a retired US military veteran who has lived in the Philippines for 23 years. My wife and I are saving to purchase a Winnebago Ekko or Winnebago Navion in the next two years. We love your video and hope to follow in your footsteps. Thank you for sharing.
Mmmm.... Looks great.
(Am looking forward to watching some New Mexico State Park videos by Rob.)
Those blue boys my son uses, he is able to put them in his truck too, he never moves his rig ever. Your pup is adorable!!!
I learned that the NM annual camping pass may be going away 😔
Congratulations...enjoy the journey camper...love the layout. Im 63🇨🇦
Love this little trailor!
Love your presentation. Glad to see someone my age doing great. Be safe.
I want to meet this guy and be his lifetime friend. Another great video!!!
Nice rig and a sweet pup and a cat to keep the mice at bay.
My favorite part about the RV tours on this channel vs other channels is that it is a realistic picture of how people actually live. Other channels show a lot of bling and fancy pretty rooms, but not realistic for living.
Bob, You helped me change my life style.
Awesome!!!
We need places like this here in the restricted UK
Nothing better than freedom.
Love what your doing.
Rob seems like a great guy to me, and I love his Winnebago. Is wonderful if you manage to get one an dlive in it. It looks very comfortable and spacy. I was wondering how it is 'heatwise' in the desert in this Winnebago. Do you have special AC or other ways to keep it cool inside on hot days? Love your cat and dog - that is nice companionship. Thanks for sharing Rob & Bob, and many happy years I wish for you in your home. Greetings Jason
What a lovely, peaceful life. Thanks for sharing!! :)
Really enjoyed this 😊. So nice to see this life can be affordable and enjoyable.
Looks like a good life
Love it.
George has heard the coyote stories! 😂
Rob, I like your thinking.....using the body wipes to wash and then mop the floor lol.
I lived in an RV for a few years. It wasn’t bad
definitely some great ideas on this one!! part of the reason I haven't moved forward with anything is never actually gone RV and and I don't know how to do the water stuff so I want the life but I don't know how to do any of it I'm sure you've learned real quick when you have no choice! I got a lot of vacation time this year I would like to use some of it up and go visit one of these kind of places and just meet and talk with everyone!
thank you ALL stay safe
The Nomadic Culture was descendent from the Snowbirds. The culture allows a large degree of freedom for many people. Oddly the Nomadic Culture experts do admit that the culture is not for all people.
In Texas people who stay for season are called Winter Texans 😊👍🏼💙🚐
Good interview and information. Thank you for sharing with us all 👍🏻. Those small towels are great. They are used in hospitals too. Just add some water and wash away lol. Even wash your hair with them then just dry off. I have some ✌🏻
