Is the SRAM X01 worth it? My 2021 Trek Roscoe 7's new derailleur!

- After breaking the derailleur on my 2021 Trek Roscoe 7, I ended up replacing it with a SRAM X01. Pretty nice upgrade! I looked into the other bikes that were equipped with the SRAM X01 and they're all pretty high end so I thought I'd share a bit around the different models in the SRAM Eagle lineup as well as what the difference is between cheaper derailleurs versus higher end derailleurs.

Thanks for this video. Big fan of GX line. My son is getting the Roscoe 7 for Christmas and this might be a future upgrade. By the way, your doing a great job with the channel. @@buulam Yes, similar situation here. I had a couple picked out but the shop I deal with found this one and I went with it.

I think about $300 Canadian. The SX rear derailleur, if it was in stock, looked like it was under $100 Canadian 😬
Oh, and Happy Turkey Day :) We had ours in Canada in October 😂

@@buulam , tell me about it. I used to ride a lot before my kids were born and can’t find time with all their weekend sports activities. With the pandemic situation we have at the moment and kids are in college, I decided to get back on the saddle. I scored a used excellent condition Salsa El Mar over the summer. I love steel hardtails. I’ve already spent close to the same amount I paid on the El mar on upgrades. Well, that’s how it goes! 😀

The derailleur? Probably other upgrades that will be more worth it than the derailleur. Saddle, pedals, etc
