- In this requested scenario we test out what would happen if most non-aligned and fascist countries joined the Axis in WW2.

Spain ALWAYS tips the balance and joins at the most critical time. ALWAYS. In every timelapse they join just as the Axis seems to falter and then destroy the Allies last hope. Great timelapse, was a lot of fun to watch!
I've seen them join allies once as nationalist and it ruined Axis totally. They can also join the Japanese as nationalist.

it's because they secure gibraltair, this means the allied fleet has to go all around africa and pass through suez (if not already blocked) to enter the mediterrain and naval invade the weaker part of the axis, which takes a long time.
Turkey also helps a lot axis since it guarantees them maintaining syria and reaching suez and makes the axis able to land invade africa. It also opens a quicker front over the caucasus.

what if the reich had all land ever possessed by germans before world war 2? (austria, HRE borders, possessions of the teutonic knights)
that'll be with colonies before WW1 too.
Sounds very interesting indeed! Other versions of that scenario with formable nations joining the Allies or Comintern can also work!

Does this include areas of Germanic tribes?
@@RomanOf2002 i would say no because they didnt consider themselves german yet since that wasnt a concept yet. only german speaking and controlled by german speakers.
I maybe know a scenario what if all non aligned countries form a alliance together and fight against the other factions

They were trying to make it as historically accurate as possible
Yeah but in 1936 If you didn't join the Axis it looked like you were dead which wasn't good In the long term but short-term was necessary.
How about a timelapse where Japan feels betrayed since Germany didn't tell them about the plan to invade soviet union so that the Japanese decides to declare war on germany and join the allies and later on when the Japan attacks the USA the USA will join the Axis since they are in war with the allies.

What if Japan fought the Axis? Japan could still have Korea, Taiwan and Manchukuo but could also invade Vichy French Indochina and send troops through the USSR or it’s navy on the high seas.
A very interesting suggestion! But at what time of WW2 do you want them to attack the Axis? In 1939 or maybe 1941 when Germany attacks USSR?
@@aidrianyoutube hm. During Operation Barbarossa. Maybe add someone else to the Axis (not OP) to even out Japan joining? Strange bedfellows Imperial Japan and the Soviet Union. Maybe play it up as a shared interest in avoiding fascism taking over the planet. Idk if China has any major fascist warlords that might ally with the Axis? Maybe that is a way for Japan to be drawn into the war when a Chinese fascist faction joins the axis.

Why is Japan never in the Axis in these videos?
Because with how alliances work with ai, It would be sending troops over to europe which would be problematic, so they just give it its own faction, its also why the Soviets stay in the comintern and dont join the allies
