Owned this knife since introduced the price and size might have hurt sales but it’s probably one of the underrated knives I own I did put the Titanium scale on it but the quality and function. Great video!
I know this an older video, but I added a copper scale to my Brouwer and like the knife so much more. I’m kinda bothered by the g-10/micarta, or whatever else material on one side too. The copper suits it well and balances out the weight nicely.
I really like the Brouwer. Nice compact size and very utilitarian. I would have preferred G-10 on both sides of the knife and a Compression lock, but the frame lock works and the lockup is solid. The one thing I hate about the Brouwer is the clip. Mine is the CQI version like yours with the canted clip. Instead of switching it to the wire clip, all Spyderco did was move the position of the clip below the lanyard hole, so now the clip rests at a very odd angle. The stock clip is way too long for this knife and looks out of place against the titanium scale. It’s no wonder people have been putting after market clips on these knives. Aside from that it’s a great little folder.
Easily a favorite Spyderco. The price doesn’t make sense for everyone, but I think it earns every penny. The Razor Edge Knives (REK) Spyderco clip (esp. sandblasted finish) is amazing on this. Though I don’t mind the stock clip either.
Nice review on a cool knife. I have one frame lock knife in my modest collection that has the scale on one side. I like the knife but there is this subconscious feeling that the knife is unfinished. Also it feels strange in the hand because it is grippy on one side only. Even though I like everything else about it, I don't carry it much.
I love my Brouwer.
this is my favorite edc of all time
Also, since you mentioned it: spydieflick is my favorite deployment method for the Brouwer. Can confirm, it can be done and is satisfying.

Loved watching your review. Nice to
hear there were many things you liked about the knife.

Worth it if you can get it second hand at a cheap price for sure.

I like the shape, but the price kills it for me.
Generally, I prefer rolling open to flicking.
Just bought a spiderco knife similar to this a couple months ago
Also this is Elijah
Looks like a very generic frame lock knife with its thumb studs removed and some instagram knife guy modded it by adding a Spydie circle :/
