Hi Guys, loved the video. I worked in The Shakespeare as a bar maid in 1990 to 1993. The best second job I ever had. There were characters from the off. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was haunted. Many weekends whilst making merry customers used to sleep in the vault and were left there while we had a lock in. One character was called Pip and he used to ride his push bike from the Shakespeare to the white hart with his eyes closed. He used the pavements to do this but I was still amazed😅. An other guy was called Alex. He was a tree surgeon and fell from the top tree. It gave him tinnitus and a mental illness. Alex was a tormented soul and hanged himself. Not in the pub but I would ask out for him as he was a regular in the pub. . He used to drink Pils lager. Ps I don’t know his last name but he went to high school with Lisa Stansfield !!!!
A few years back there was a young landlord that wasn't aware of the buildings listed status due to the wood inside and decided to paint it😆 national heritage found out and payed him a visit, he was made to restore some of it ( I thought it was all of it but watching this obviously not) my prediction is it will 'accidentally ' burn down, if you're passing just take a look at the roof, it's a work of art, I pass it every day and somebody has already started to put the leaded windows through , absolute shame.
Ps. Alex used to stand on his own by the bar. The same place every night in the vault as we called it. Actually at the bar with his Holsten Pils. I took his passing badly. If you find him one day say Lisa says hello. 😢

Hi Jay. Sorry I missed your premiere...didn't get notification. I do love the explores first coz it gives us a chance to see what kind of environment you are investigating in and of course your safety and security. The pub has beautiful woodwork and I bet it was a popular one when it was open. We have pubs nearby that have closed and turned into mosques. Interesting activity though, hope you go back xxx

wow this place is great ! and i love the smoke transition jay really good, it freaked me out on the first one haha, you should use it in all the videos i love it ! someone is still walking around in there for sure, and that door was wild omg ! not wind that did it, i think maybe an overnight there would be great !
Thanks Cathy. I thought I'd try something different as I'm always leaning stuff with editing. Yea the door was definitely not the wind there was a few doors closing in the place. Very nice place
