    Great presentation.
Is there a Part 2 available?

From the 1989 version of "The Metabolism and Toxicity of Fluroide" by Gary M. Whitford - "The ingestion of fluoride during pregnancy for the intended purpose of providing a cariostatic benefit to the child appears to be rational only if it is followed by a sufficient level of intake by the neonate to prevent plasma fluoride levels from falling below those which existed in utero. Otherwise a viable portion of the fluoride which was accumulated by the fetal skeleton and teeth will be mobilized and excreted in the urine. Similarly, fluoride supplementation during the first months and years of life would be expected to lose much of its impact if the level of intake were allowed to decline."
Fortunately for the health of children the fluoride supplement schedule was revised to recommend no fluoride supplements before the age of 6 months, regardless of the fluoride level in the water. But because of political implications, the proper advice to avoid fluoridated water for infant formula preparation has been effectively suppressed in the U.S. If authorities started to recommend non-fluroidated water for infant formula preparation it would cast doubt on fluoridation in general. Fluoridation decisions are still made by city councils and voters in referendums in some parts of the U.S. We don't have state mandatory fluoridation laws in every state. So we will continue to overdose babies with fluoride for one reason only - to maintain the reputation of fluoridation. No authority says this is beneficial, but they do admit this is a fluorosis risk. It's all risk for no reward.
Gary M. Whitford is the most well known fluoride toxicity experts in the U.S. But in a video he disagreed with the majority of dental scientists and said he did not think infant formula made with fluoridated tap water is a fluorosis risk. He said go ahead and use fluoridated tap water to prepare infant formula. Ready to feed infant formula, which is more expensive, is the best to use and it has very little fluoride in it. That's by design, as formula manufacturers removed as much fluoride as they could back in the 1970's.
