Extended rays are taken for prologating the reflecting rays. Its not for all infinity images. In case of concave mirror image forms at infinity, but not by extended rays.

Yes, convex lens and concave mirror are converging. The Ray's in these after refraction in convex lens and reflection in concave mirror will meet at one point. That's why they are called converging. Where as in concave lens and convex mirror the rays will diverge. Hence they are called diverging.
For lens there will be two curves, for one side f1 is the focal length and c1 is its respective center of curvature. For second side, f2 is its focal length and c2 is its center of curvature. If both sides are having same radii of curvature then f1=f2. If they are having different radii of curvature then f1 not equal to f2.
Concave mirror and convex lens will have 6 types. Convex mirror and concave lens will have two cases. Observe whether it is lens or mirror, both are different
