I just replaced a broken string for the first time ever and your video has the best description of how to make sure the string overlaps itself on the peg. Thanks so much!
Thank you for this video! I’ve been struggling to learn how to change a string for the last 15 years but you made it so much easier. I really appreciate it! ❤
Fantastic guide! I watched a few videos trying to figure out how to replace a string on my daughter's Troubadour VI, and this was the most helpful by far. Mission accomplished! Many thanks.
Wow Sara! You are a life saver! I just got my very first harp (22 strings) and I was trying to tune it and one string broke. I just need to figure out how to tune it. I'll look in your channel to see if you have a video about it. Thanks!!
So many helpful tips and the clise up visuals were great. My first harp string popped during the night out of the sound box. Wierd! Got my new harp in February. Advise to listen all the way thru before starting as I did not tune my other strings first. Also I see harpist keep a diary of sorts of the string histories. Do you carry a full set in your harp bag?

Thank you so much - was not able to lock the string onto the tuning peg until I watched this.
The best video for changing harp strings! It also calms you down. It's the soothing voice and the music in the background..
Thank you for this excellent video! Your clear, concise breakdown of the steps made It so much easier to understand than the other videos I watched.
This is the BEST video I have every watched for changing strings. Thank you!!!

You have a very soothing voice and this video is awesome support for a freaked out begginer changing his first broken string🥰
I’ve probably changed six or sevens strings and I still come back to this to help me out.

I also have string buttons which are very helpful to put the end of the string in! the knot is always the hardest part for me and the button helps

Thank you so much for this guide. Where do you ever use the short left over string as it's too short to replace the same string the next time

Thank you, this was very helpful! :)
Thank you so much 😭💕
I plan to build a harp, with minimal capital
What do you use for an anchor? It is my first time changing a string on my irish harp.
Fam. Do a short video fastening the string onto upper threading point. Ty
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!!!
Every time I have to replace my string I come back to watch this to make sure I’m doing it right haha!
What song is playing in the background? It’s pretty
I was also hoping to see how to do the top attachment of the string.
Very cool thank you
Oops, sorry I thought the video ended😅.
Interesting knot. Does it have a name? Reminds me of knot tying class from Boy Scouts.
BUTTONS by Dusty Strings eliminates the fool knot!
I hate how NO ONE does the closeup when doing the stupid loop🙄🙄🙄
Dusty Strings sells ‘buttons’ which eliminate the evil, vile knot! Cheap, easy to use! No need the fool knot!
