The lineup was a little crazy for this show. Glassjaw opened the show, followed by Converge, and then the headliner was Hatebreed. 3 of my favs, but as you might imagine, Glassjaw doesn't really fit in with the other two. The crowd wasn't that into Glassjaw at all. They booed them a lot. I LOVE all 3 of those bands, especially Glassjaw, so it was kind of like a Woodstock to me. GJaw, Converge and the Breed. Are you fucking kidding me? What a line up, you know, but not many others felt the same way. I filmed all 3 bands full sets. One day, ill get my shit together and post the full sets. It was a monster show. This was when Hatebreed was touring Perseverance and was still a great band before they released the same album like 15 times and watered themselves down to the point of it being useless to buy any new albums as they all sound the same (my opinion). I thought thru Perseverance, they were amazing, but i didn't like much after. Anyway, it was a great fucking show. Small little club (Club Laga) where I saw and filmed a ton of shows. It's long gone now. I remember seeing System of a Down there in 98 when they were touring the first album and literally no one besides me knew who they were. I was a radio station DJ, so i had all the new stuff early and loved the first SOAD. Saw them many times live on that tour. They were opening for, get this shit... (hed)p.e, and then the headliner was Incubus. I fucking hate Incubus but this was when S.C.I.E.N.C.E. was out and they were still kind of considered heavy. Also saw and filmed Bad Brains at that club. They played with Vision of Disorder (one of my favs). The good ole days. Damn, i miss live music and Club Laga.
@@rodakjones7574 Ah man I was at this show front row and would love to see your Glassjaw vid from this one. Please hook us up with that I really miss this venue lots of great shows there.
That front man appears to have no stage fright what so ever. I mean like at every show. Hes just up there looking crazy as shit, and they love it...😊😊😊
So this show was in between albums. They played 2 new songs, Ape and Cosmopolitan at this show, but the album wasn't out yet. So, chances are that was a work in progress at the time. Also, they were the opening band on this tour, followed by Converge and headlined by Hatebreed, so they were probably trying to be as heavy as possible. They got booed the whole show, but I loved them. I love all 3 of those bands, but they didn't really fit on that bill. They went over much better the couple of times I saw them open for the Deftones around the same time.
Just watched GlassJaw open for Coheed in Salt Lake tonight. Not even the same band. Zero energy. They didn't play one song off their first album. So disappointed
I haven't seen them in years. I saw them a lot when they first came out and they were always great. I guess sometimes you just lose the mojo you had fter doing it for so long. it's sad. they used to be awesome live and on record. I haven't really dug anything since Worship & Tribute.
Man..these people really had no idea what to think about Glassjaw. Pure energy and love from them back then.

I MISS TODD AND LARRY IN GLASSJAW :(
They should start the 20x shows with that riff from Bartender
I sware it sounds like someone yells out "I JUST FARTED!" at around 0:56
goosebumps.
Good shit!
look! people aren't pointing handheld devices at the band!
Hahaha no kidding wow
We didn’t have them lol
The intro sounds like the birth of tip your bartender

I'm still trying to find out if the lack of effort is due to health reasons or just no interest in playing that way anymore...
Once they apologized for their lyrics I lost all respect for them. Plus the loss of their rhythm guitarist made them sound so empty
Tonight, I’m going to a party!
