This was our strategy also. Watched the opening then went straight for Bloodline 1842 and went through twice. Then we went to the media reception and relaxed for a while. The Grimoire also had a pretty long line as we went by around 8:30, we waited to go through that until later in the night.
I’m a huge scaredy cat, but this does look pretty fun. I’m a big fan of vampires and they made a pretty interesting story for the attraction too

This line gets long so make sure to go straight to this maze to get in early so you can do it multiple times. It's back behind ghostrider
