Oswald is, without a doubt, one of the sickest fighters to be created by SNK. His personality, his wardrobe, his diverse moveset (hard to master, yet hella rewarding), his cool yet calculating demeanor; everything about the guy screams "fantastic character design."
Thank goodness Oswald returned in KOFXIV. He even got his original voice actor from XI back to do the honors of voicing him yet again.
Dude, you described him almost exactly how I would, it's simply one of my favorite character designs ever.

I love how u can tell Oswald's moves really go for the "deck of cards" theme in terms of hits tbh:
1. the SP version of SDM Four Suits has exactly 21 hits (Blackjack)
2. His LDM (named Joker) on its own has exactly 53 hits (an entire deck of cards including the Jokers)

Uggh... this run reminded me again that We seriously NEED MORE KoF-Destiny, the world needs to know one day Shen Woo's thoughness, how much of a clever troll Ash can be, Oswald terrifiying badassery, that Shion is actually a man and the most hard evil bastard organizer known as Magaki.... this saga is the best of KOF imo. It would also be interesting showing how Gesse is involved in this as he's still alive at this point
It's too bad that KOF Destiny sucked...

Y’know I kinda wish Ash Was in XIV, He was one of my Mains in my team on XIII(Still play it to this day on PC). His style is a bit similar to Kyo’s(Green Fire) I’m hoping he comes back in the upcoming XV game because if you Played the ending, to The Official invitation team(Kukri, Nellie, Mian) the ending shows kukri with Elizabeth that they were resurrecting him. So that’s a Strong tell he may come.

Crazy how Oswald dropped a year before Hellsing Ultimate, I always thought he was soft modelled after that anime's aesthetic. During that time Ultimate was gaining mad popularity and people who dabbled or at least played KOF were ecstatic to see a character like Oswald in the game. KOF 99 changed the mold a good bit but 2k3/XI really brought about some great character designs and presentation.

how do you do the knockdown ender for Oswald's Heart special btw (the one where he spins up in the air)? Cause I only get the spin w/o him knocking the enemy down to the ground.
In order to pull off Oswald's Ace Finish, your opponent needs to be perfectly aligned with Oswald in order for it to work.

Caramba, fiquei sem internet última semana e demorei a ver, mas ficou muito foda, esse Hero Team não tem erro. Combos fodas, bom humor como sempre (as esquivas no Duck King KKKKKKKKKKK, além de tu pegando geral no chutinho do Ash) e eu nem sabia que o Oswald tinha um move de counter/parry/teleport o.o. Nem em torneios vi ele sendo utilizado, tu conseguiria imaginar um motivo? Deixa ele vulnerável rápido se não acertar ou algo assim?
Na verdade o teleport dele é muito util mas se vc errar o time ele fica vuneravel.

Oswald, Gato, Kula y Nests Kyo están super rotos en este juego. Casi todos los que hacen speedrun en kof XI ponen el sistema de juego en modo "Arcade", porque en modo "arrange" todos los personajes (incluyendo shion y magaki) están más equilibrados.

Pero supongo que el juego está configurado en modo "arcade" . En modo "arrange" todos los personajes están más equilibrados. Un ejemplo es que el ataque aéreo de oswald después del "Ace" quita una barbaridad de sangre en modo arcade y en modo arrange ya no quita tanto.
