Join me for a detailed look at this brand new, Polish, "Freeze dried" field ration. This ration was kindly sent to me by "Delicious" a fellow ration reviewer from Poland. Only reviewed a small handfull times on TH-cam, I'm excited to see what the next incarnation of Polish rations has in store. What will I find? Are the new incarnations better (or worse) than its predecessors? Watch, as I describe the new contents tastes, smells and textures. Thanks for an interesting review ! I am happy that the Polish army introduced a variety of items, the ration is not boring anymore :) But I also agree that thay are still experimenting with some of this food, and the experiments are not always very succesfull

The freeze dried berries in the oatmeal were particularly excellent! And all of the snacks would certainly keep you full until the next meal....many thanks again!....ATB..Mick

Components look good. Different, but good. There is A lot of components for A Breakfast ration. Nice! Lemon ginger drink is new. So are the beets and sweet potatoes. I love the sesame bars. Rough on teeth, but tasty. Again, I am impressed as to the amount of food included. I think you enjoyed, LOL. As always, nicely done my friend. Very enjoyable from my side of your camera. Stay safe. Wow, this ration has a lot of components. The oats looked really good. Not sure how the SU-1 crackers fit in. I think I would try dunking them in the coffee.

@@MichaelGreenReviews Those crackers are best crackers i ever had. We call them Pancerwaffle in Poland.
SU-1 is there so you would apriciate other things more - when you get tired of oatmeal or other elements you think to yourself , well there is still SU-1 , and the oatmeal starts to look tasty again. Plus you can always use it for self defence if your rifle is out of reach ;)
I'm slightly worried about increasing amount of sugar in those MREs, while I can't see anything to support dental hygiene in the field. Toothache can be absolutely devastating to effectiveness and morale.
Much of this Polish freeze-dried breakfast ration appears to have been intended to prevent scurvy by heavy quantities of fruits and fruit essences, and drinks.
Polish cuisine, like much of Eastern Europe, or Europe in general, is heavily meat-based with potatoes and bread but obviously lacking in vegetables and vitamin C. This breakfast menu intends to make up the deficit. The only meat product is the dried beef stick, to provide at least a token meat product to the Polish diet for breakfast. Probably the hardtack biscuits were meant to go with the beef stick.
I came back to add that this breakfast menu provides a healthy intake of fiber, which is often missing in heavy meat and potato/bread diets.
Looks like a very impressive breakfast menu.
As you say it is disappointing that the panzerplates are still in there, and for me personally I'm not a fan of sesame bars, 2 of them seems a little weird.
Pancerwallfe and regular diner, no beans, thats polish stuff.
All these food rations are an overgrowth of form over content.

Much more carbs, less fat and meat. Not good.
Look for 24h MRE ration there is meat. This is breakfast only.
