My word press is giving an error every time I try to upload the font in Woff format. It will only accept TFF.

Please do not rely on plugins to upload custom fonts, learn how to install them manually, plugins are susceptible to bugs and all sorts. My advice as a senior WordPress developer; don't use plugins for uploading custom fonts.

Installing fonts manually is always the better option but realize that most people are not senior WordPress developers such as yourself. Doing this manually will involve uploading the font files using FTP, then editing the style.css file. Do you think most people have the expertise to do this or have the time to learn how to do it? I do agree that plugins are susceptible to bugs which is exactly why I recommended using one from a reliable developer that regularly updates their plugins.
