We need to know how it compares to a partybox given that this is clearly 'inspired' by one. I noticed it is like 200 bucks cheaper than the JBL equivalent which would make it tempting for those on a budget but what are its drawbacks?

I've got the rock party 10 and it's great only complaints is slight lack of midrange in the wheels are too close together
