I’ve seen my wife put our son to sleep by singing this song. I’ve seen her calm him down from a crying fit, console him when he falls down or just to help him feel better when he’s sick by singing this song as a lullaby. It’s their song, their bond between a mother and child. No one can take that away from them.

I have felt my grandkids needed to know some of these special songs. We were at an Arboretum with one of my grandson's recently and we saw a couple of caterpillars. I started singing "Inchworm". My 33 yo daughter had never heard it before. I sent this rendition which I really love.

My 7th grade music teacher introduced us to this song and even now at the age of 52 (almost), I remember the words. I don't know why this makes me tear up and almost ready to cry. I have had some major losses in my life with the latest being my beloved dog, Bumper. I beleive I sang this to him once. Hopefully I recorded it and when I have the courage, I'll look for it. But Lisa, your voice is angelic for this and I hope that you read the following words:

Seriously unsure who to ask haven't been in real life contact with others isee and hear.... My daughter in Iowa's on me which in unsure of... I'm in false belief something is gonna happen or they're gonna show up here in Pennsylvania this is why I left work on Thursday. Unsure who to trust not one ever come true.. All night long I had preprogrammed dreams with my step mom Kelly.., woke up not me and grumpy like not good.
