    This poor guy is getting shit from Sunday to Saturday. Yes his helmet is shite, yes he stalled his bike (who hasn't?) Ok, he is probably new to bikes (we all started somewhere) BUT! Who started riding on a pretty cool bobber? Not me that's for sure! Thing is most of us out there would be quite happy to ride around on his bike but years since we started riding still haven't got one! Hats off to this chap for starting his biking life how we all imagined it should be!

      @Francisco Salvador carbs are kinda sensitive to altitude and air density. this bike might be tuned for a lower altitude hence why it's stalled from running too rich. idk if your bike has more than one cyl, I've never owned a bike with more than one. mine is a single cyl that always stalled in the morning or when I ride it to higher altitude despite having it serviced regularly

    Good LORD it sounds amazing. 😱😱😱🤘🤘🤘 I rode a rigid frame Harley custom bobber we built ourselves-in the kitchen😁and it’s THE only way to truly experience being a biker. And I not only stalled out my 1st couple times, BUT ran outta gas on my maiden voyage and pushed that 700 pound behemoth back home myself. Talk about a humbling experience. But I loved that machine like nothing else ever. Put 3009 miles on it in the first 2 months-in January. There’s nothing like a rigid bobber, my friends!!!
    This scoot is beautiful. Absolutely amazing. Love me some Yammis and Hondas and such too!! Nice work!⭐️

  • @waynepurcell6058
    @waynepurcell6058 4 ปีที่แล้ว +21

    I love this bike. I don't ride anymore but if I did start back I would want something like this (except with quieter pipes). I had a rat Sportster (and later on a Triumph bobber) back in the day. I love minimalism like this. Also since all my friends and I ever did was slow cruising of winding mountain roads even lack of front brake wouldn't be THAT much a issue (although I'd probably install one JTBS). It was rare if we ever broke 50MPH while out riding.
    I've also worked second shift my entire adult life so I'm a hardcore night owl. I did most of my solo riding between 1:30AM and 5AM. I'd be up on the BR Parkway all nice and cool, with virtually zero traffic, and nothing but my thoughts. Sometimes I wouldn't even shift past third gear lol.

    • @thefreedomguyuk
      @thefreedomguyuk 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +NGSVALENCIA A bit late..but per definition not a rat, and neither a bobber. A true rat has got natural patina, bobbers are ALWAYS stock frames. This is a rat-look custom bike, which firmly falls within choppers.

    • @NGSVALENCIA
      @NGSVALENCIA 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I guess you could say it´s a ratbike themed custom bike.
      And also who said bobber have mandatory stock frames??
      Those terms come from an origin and as almost everything in the custom bike world, they become aesthetic guidelines and styles taht are never 100% "something"
      For me this is a custom bike, it is a bobber, and it is a rat bike.
      It has the rusty lookjust because it´s not hyoer extremely survival with skulls or stuff like that doesn´t exclude it from beeing a ratbike.
      The same way one could build a chopper without apes, rare, but possible.
      That´s the beauty of custom bikes.
      Anyhow I agree, it is a very nice build, I love minimalism and that bike is so cool looking.

    • @koeike2000
      @koeike2000 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      a ratbike can not be build, it takes a lifetime an lots of miles to becomme a ratbike

    • @NGSVALENCIA
      @NGSVALENCIA 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Erwin Koevoets no way, ratbike defines a style, i've seen brand new bikes beeing turned into ratbikes, even more, true ratbikes will run perfect, it only implies a style.
      That's like saying you can't build an old school with a bike that's not from the 60's'70's. All those terms come from a place but now they only refer to the aesthetic part of the bike. just like cafe racers are no more meant for racing, sissy bars no more for pushing, chopping frame is not for wheight reduction as it used to be, tape on headlight doesn't serve any purpose nowadays as well.... .

      @@WelchsFruitySnacks there's nothing wrong with a modular helmet, any helmet is better than no helmet.
      BUT it's not intended to be open while riding, like this guy was doing. I personally wouldn't own one because they're much heavier than a full face with less protection. I have a half helmet if I want less protection and more air, and I have the full face for times im looking for more protection than a half helmet would provide. Products that try to do too many things in one package never seem to do any of those things very well.
