When Billy raced for ipswich witches he lived in my road in hadleigh suffolk. I had a very uncomfortable ride on the fuel tank of his bike at the local sand pits where he would test his bikes. I remdmber being quite star struck but was put at ease by his freindly manner.RIP Billy.

Thank you, that's bliss such a lovely fulla was a privelige to meet and know him and hold up the Aussie flag in the back of a ute at the Sydney showgrounds track when he beat all world comers.. Love you Billy rest in peace ✌
That was me in the blue mask in the pool, I remember the dog, it was actually a stray that just showed up that day. 😅 Billy's son and I were best mates. Both gone far too early 😔

I remember Dad taking me in the pits to see all the greats at the world pairs Liverpool back in 1982
