    Key takeaways (well i hope it helps and do pls ignore my horrible note-taking skills)
    Take breaks if you lost motivation
    1.Spend time reflecting on qs you got wrong
    2. Take your practice tests untimed--slow down at first. Accuracy is the key
    Mindset:
    1. Sat is a new skill itself. Dont worry about your previous performances; the sat is the new opporunity
    2. The english sec is NOT subjective
    -math: theres 20-30 q types. Just master these
    Eng: the answer will always be in the text--what sentences can i pull out from the text to support my ans
    The studying...
    1.acely
    2. Studying in small chunks
    3. Notebook for mistakes
    4. "Dumb mistakes" are not just dumb mistakes. Theres a reason
    5. Personalized tips
    6. Dont give up:)
    Gl yall✨

      I mean if you're already good at math then the way to almost guarantee an 800 is get to the point you practice the math part of the test three times without mistakes. Though it begs to matter whether an 800 is really not measurably different from 770, as much as a 1560 is not measurably different from 1600.
      I know that every Asian likes 800 on SAT Math (subject and general) notwithstanding.

    Hey! Congrats on your SAT Score. I was wondering if you can give me tips to study. For example, whenever I start studying, I face hard problems and as I spend a lot of time, I can’t think and find the answer. Is there anything I can do to study better

    Any tips for students who don't go through the american system? I'm in the IGCSE curriculum, meaning that I'll be sitting for international exams for three years straight (sophomore to senior year in American terms). And we have loads of subjects... Any tips to prep without falling back in school?

    • @AnnieLong
      @AnnieLong  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      definitely time block important tasks like test prep so that u can work the rest of ur schedule around it!

    I'm taking the digital SAT in a month and by then I will be done with algebra 2 (so for math i won't really have to actually learn anything new.) I am not familiar with the question types, so I'm using Khan Academy. Should I be starting to use practice tests already even though I'm unfamiliar with the question types? Should I learn the question types first and then do practice tests or do practice tests to learn the question types, or a combination of both?

    • @stevenluo9516
      @stevenluo9516 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you know enough to slay Algebra 2 then you probably should get with the practice tests, especially only a month out.

      i would occasionally take one weekend to just fully take a pause on studying! also romanticizing studying by cafe hopping makes things more enjoyable :)
