Do people need to make an effort to get married or find someone? No.He must work on character improvement and Allah will arrange the rest. Do people need to be educated about marriage? Yes and No. If they are to be told about the required individual traits of a good spouse,this is a confusion. These traits are not acquired without a principled social system. Why is that so? They shouldn't believe marriage is going to be sustained by individual skills because this can hamper the growth of little selfless attitude which marriage require. Why selfless attitude is required? So that people don't focus on thinking what's best only for him. Excess focus on the self can lead to multiple psychological dysfunctions and can cause harm to entire society.

I'm so glad you guys addressed the Mufti Menk incident, I remember it being so polarizing at that time. Even I was thinking (at that time) out of all the fitnas this ummah is facing this guy had to go and talk about knitting which seems like a very benign thing but alhamdulillah it's that incident that introduced me to brother Romani's content. Awwwww very inspiring talk. I make dua that all your families revert to Islam And Allah guides them. I am finding these discussions in regards to men being men in Islam Very refreshing, Inspiring and truthful. I left Islam 26 years ago because how badly the Muslim men in my family and around me treated the women. I converted to Christianity 10 years later as I always felt there was a god. Christianity was the closet thing to Islam is how I see it now at the time for me. However it never made sense Jesus being son of god. The Alhamdullilah in 2015 I came back to my mum , who over the years of me leaving home had become a beautiful pious Muslim. It was her character that made me rethink Islam. I then started to study Islam and Alhamdullilah am so so grateful allah gave me this opportunity again. However all my non Muslim friend and my ex husband walked away. It’s tough tough but I have Allah. I have 2 daughters and I make dua and please make dua they are guided to Islam. This is What worries me but I leave all to Allah inshallah. Jazakallah khair for this discussion
