Congrats on the new top. An ozone machine has also been mentioned to work well for the smell, but I do not know enough about them to be able to recommend one or not, the little spray can worked well for me.
@@2bebetter Its DV8 overhead molle th-cam.com/video/h7u51wNkYEc/w-d-xo.html THey should work fine, I haven't actually fit one on but the attachment points are the same as OEM so should fit right up. ( Maybe one day after I figure out how to make my garage taller I can get a roof rack :)
@@edgeorge1156 I will check and verify most likely only if you flip down year seat and lay it long ways. It won’t fit sideways but may at an angle , I will experiment and see for sure
Overall looks pretty good but I don’t like the way the side windows have a shape that doesn’t quite follow the same slant angle of the top in back - it just looks kind of off…not sure why they did that. Also the placement of the badging is extremely off-putting to me and I’m sure many others. Wondering if front section can be removed if OEM roof rack is installed since it’s one big piece instead of two smaller pieces like OEM.
From what I have seen so far the front can not be taken off with most roof racks. I am not sure if there are any that are tall enough that the top can be slid out or not.
Yes, I'm pretty sure it would, I looked at some and then started comparing them and researching , and before I could decide on which one to get the smell was already gone.

Thanks, just a little bit of matte black wrap, but makes a pretty big difference I think.

After seeing it in person, I’ll say that this top looks great and seems like an excellent value.
Im sure you have answered this before. But I havent seen it. Where did you get that metal molle in the front on the roof?
Also how do these tops fit with a trailrax roof rack?
