Nice! I'm not a huge fan of sour beers but they sure are a lot of fun to make! Love the apron! My Berliner Weisse was WAY too sour though, maybe I'd like it more with a better pH
@@ElementaryBrewingCo Oh dont get me wrong I love a good sour beer that has that sour bite to it, but there is a place for a mellow sour also. It would be interesting to see this beer with some kind of fruit adjunct added to it. Nothing super strong but something subtle. Maybe like cherry or blueberry.
I’ve done it with Philly sour as well and it works but I prefer the level of control you get and better flavor from kettle souring. Cheers and good luck with your brew 🍻
Nice video dude! That's a great style of beer, one of my favourites alongside fruited gose. I'm actually in the search for a new Ph meter, what a shame this one is not available in Europe as well. Looks like a great device.
Great Video!! As a beginner brewer and an anvil user myself I’m constantly on the lookout for videos teaching me stuff! Question I have for you is what was the process you did for carbonation on this? It looked like you somehow fed a line into your fermenter and carbonated it in there somehow? Would love to know more about your process on that?
So for this beer I racked from the fermenter into a keg then carbonated with CO2 and served from there. I also have a Fermzilla All rounder fermenter that holds pressure and will use that to ferment, carbonate, and serve from. You can see more about that fermenter here, cheers 🍻 th-cam.com/video/SKqFFXkbzBc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=md-wypBku0902GD_
Ya I had a gout flare up. Haven’t had one since then but I did need to make some adjustments with my diet and I have been drinking less. Thankfully I can still enjoy beer though! Cheers 🍻
Love your content and style of presentation. If you allow me to make a minor comment: The "e" at the end of "Weisse" is pronounced, like "Vice-eh." (Just like the "e" at the end of "Porsche" is pronounced; so, not "Porsch," but "Porsch-eh.")
It’s a Pluto handheld beverage gun!!! Super sweet!!! You can get it from www.morebeer.com/index?a_aid=ElementaryBrewing It also comes in a stainless steel version!!! Cheers 🍻
Thanks for the heads up!!! Looks like the coupon code works but I can’t seem to figure out the 10% either. I’ll get in touch with them and update in the comments! Cheers 🍻

Yeah I was just on there. I saw the coupon works but couldn’t find where to do the 10%. I’ll send them a message to clarify! Thanks for the heads up!!! Cheers 🍻
🤣 hard to find good tunes 🤣 Prussian beer!!! No wonder I like it, that’s where my ancestry comes from on my dad’s side!!! Then again he’s got a lot of German heritage as well, I’d drink a Märzen or Festbier most days of the week 🤣 cheers 🍻

Never thought I'd become a sour guy until I started making my own to my own taste preference, game changer! And love the apron
Dude seriously!!! Berliners are in my top 3 now!!! I could drink them everyday….if it wasn’t dry(ish) January 🤣🤣
This looks killer. Thanks for reminding me to check the gravity of the Berliner I have fermenting right now. Cheers! 🍻
Cheers 🍻
Great video! And i'm in the market for a new pH meter, cheers!
Sour 4 life!!!!

I gotta say I was never a huge fan of sours but my taste buds have definitely changed over time because I’m really starting to enjoy them!!! Cheers 🍻
Sour beers are definitely a Labor of love but soooo worth it, urs looked incredible! 👏
LOVE a good sour! I make them all the time. Gotta mix it up a bit. 🍻
Yeah your raspberry sour looked great!!! I was originally planning on adding berries to this one but ended up not…next time I guess 🤣 cheers 🍻
Love this style of beer. They are normally light on the sour and crisp and easy drinking.
I stopped this one at 3.4 and it’s perfect. I’ve had others get down to 3.2ish and they’re still good but more on the sour side. Cheers 🍻

I'm in the process of making a berliner weisse for my friends wedding, so thanks for this. Helps out a lot to have a simple way of doing it!
I’ve done it with Philly sour as well and it works but I prefer the level of control you get and better flavor from kettle souring. Cheers and good luck with your brew 🍻
Sweet! Picked up the ph meter. Thanks!

That apron is really nice. Got a link to where I can get that?

It’s worked out great, cheers 🍻
Some time ago you mentioned having health issues meaning you could drink less for some time. How's that going? Hope you're healthy again!
Ya I had a gout flare up. Haven’t had one since then but I did need to make some adjustments with my diet and I have been drinking less. Thankfully I can still enjoy beer though! Cheers 🍻
Another great video.. you got the alupurinol or are you still suffering?
Haven’t had a flare up and haven’t had to take meds….yet….thanks for checking up on me!!! Cheers 🍻

Got it!!! Beers with different pronunciation are always difficult, especially when we don’t hear them said every day. Cheers and thanks for watching 🍻
What picnic tap were you using to dispense the beer?
It’s a Pluto Handheld Beer Gun, they also make it in Stainless steel…you can get them here…
www.morebeer.com/index?a_aid=ElementaryBrewing

Definitely hard to find! Especially certain styles like this one!!! Worth it though when you find a good one!!! Cheers 🍻
@elemenarybrewingco Many thanks for the ph meter recommendation. I've had two cheap meters die on me, I'll give this a shot for sure. Cheers
It’s way better than my cheap Dr Meter!!! Cheers 🍻
I tried to use your promo code and it doesn't work
Thanks for the heads up!!! Looks like the coupon code works but I can’t seem to figure out the 10% either. I’ll get in touch with them and update in the comments! Cheers 🍻

Nice video, even though I don't do sour beers. I wanna keep my teeth 😅. But I can understand why people like them!
Молодец,крутой контент !!!!Продолжай ,хоть я и не любитель кисляков)
I was not a fan either…until I made my own Berliner Weisse!!! It’s in my top 3 now, cheers 🍻
I purchased one, but your promo code didn’t work. The $12 did
Yeah I was just on there. I saw the coupon works but couldn’t find where to do the 10%. I’ll send them a message to clarify! Thanks for the heads up!!! Cheers 🍻
That stuff is so "delicious" that it's usually only drunk after mixing with an ample amount with either woodruff or raspberry syrup :)
Totally!!! And I haven’t even played with the syrups yet!!! It’s super drinkable without them, IMO. Cheers 🍻
the bavarian music in the background is quite disturbing in context to a prussian beer. sorry, i´m german :D cheers! great channel btw
There also is beautiful Austrian music (Viennese Waltz) in the background - love it!
