Honestly really happy to see him clear Gold Stake on the Black deck, and using a straight and with blue seals! Good run, went outside of his usual builds and was rewarded well for it.

NL absolutely crushed this run and made a lot of very canny decisions. Maybe his best run in terms of locking in? Enjoyed it!

That boss blind extended his run by forcing him to realize that having his mult multer on the left was the best setup for this deck. It never would've occurred to me either! Also, the buffed blue seal is wild.

I mean I kinda get it tbh having to put your mult multer at the front of the pack is pretty foreign at least to me
@@kaifulbright5241it simply depends where you get your scoring. If your score is primarily through base chips+mult(hand level) then you can place your xMult anywhere in the chain.
If its from card enhancements, or jokers that add mult when the card is scored(such is +3 when a heart is scored) you can also run it on the far left.
Scoring in most runs comes from scaling jokers that add the mult when the joker itself is scored, which means often you’ll need your xMult on the right of your +mult jokers, but in this instance NL’s +mult joker only represented like 20% of his mult, which meant 5Xing 80% of his mult was worth way more.
Chips, it doesn’t matter where it goes since there is no XChips jokers and addition can be done in any order.
The beauty of this game to me is how each run will be different and you have to be ready to do different things. You get to make so many basic math decisions you get to make on a frequent basis and how subtle changes in the order of the math represent huge changes in score. It really trains you on an intuitive level how important the order of operations is!

Skipping a 34 Mult Fortune Teller at 29 million is a bit of a mood. Especially since he was carrying some bloat with the hand count increasing joker and Golden Joker.
