Buchanan, TN - Animal Rescue Corps (ARC), a national nonprofit animal protection organization, assisted the Henry County Sheriff's Department on Thursday with the removal of 622 animals living in horrendous conditions on a property in Buchanan, TN; where a toddler was also found living in a cage. In the room where the child was found were also large snakes, some of which were ten feet long; as well as mice, rats, and other small animals. The property owner and two others living in the trailer were arrested and taken to the Henry County Jail. They have been charged with aggravated child abuse, aggravated cruelty to animals, cruelty to animals, manufacturing of marijuana, as well as other charges related to weapons found on the property. Additional charges are pending, and all three individuals are being held with a $300,000 bond each. On Saturday, the owner of the animals agreed to surrender 100% of the animals seized on this property. Animal Rescue Corps dubbed this rescue Operation Caged Hell.
In total 726 animals were removed which included 65 dogs (including puppies born during the rescue), three cats, 545 rodents, three marsupials, four caged birds, 86 chickens, eight snakes, ten rabbits, one pheasant, and one gecko. The animals were found in and around a dilapidated trailer and out-buildings. Make-shift pens made from rusty scrap metal and old wire fencing containing dogs, chickens, and rabbits littered the front yard. Dead animals were found among the living in these pens surrounded by trash, debris, and scrap metal. Loose dogs and cats roamed the overgrown yard as well as inside the trailer which was filled with trash, feces, urine, cobwebs, cockroaches, and large glass tanks containing large snakes, mice, and rats. Seventeen firearms, including an AR15, were also found on the property, as well as 127 marijuana plants.
Responding to a complaint of animal abuse, the Henry County Sheriff's department arrived at the property and through the open front door, could see the caged child. Upon entering the trailer, the ammonia from the urine and feces was overwhelming and cockroaches and flies covered the walls, floors, and other surfaces. The child was removed from the trailer, and placed in the custody of Child Protective Services. Animal Rescue Corps was called in to assist with removing and caring for hundreds of the animals. All of the animals lacked appropriate care, shelter, and access to food and clean water. Other conditions included internal and external parasites, eye injuries, skin diseases, emaciation, untreated wounds, severe dental disease, as well as other illnesses and symptoms of severe neglect. Many of the small animals were kept in containers that were completely full of feces to the point that it restricted the movement of the animals.
"We simply could not have done this without the Animal Rescue Corps", said Henry County Sheriff, Monte Belew. "They helped us tremendously for the second time this week." Animal Rescue Corps had responded to a request for help two days earlier, on Tuesday, to assist Henry County deputies with the removal of 45 dogs found living in extremely dangerous conditions on a property in Paris, TN. Charges are still pending in that rescue, dubbed Operation Fresh Air, as law enforcement is reviewing the evidence collected.

I just want to say something to you guy, there was a lady who adopted a dog from this hoarding case, and she turned out to be pregnant. I would end up adopting one of those puppies, and he is the most loving, smart, little precious soul I have ever been lucky to have known. I didn't save him, he saved me. Thank you guys for all you do, you're doing great things, and don't get enough recognition. I'll definitely will be donating towards your efforts, once again, thank you, from me and Waylon.

I live with some dogs , but I'm in Pension and my dogs are my life! Chihuahuas and one Pit Bull from a high kill shelter in Hungary ....I live in Austria/ Europe....but I never will understand how people can put little dogs in cages to life ...or small animals , in dirth and feeces ...and so much ....and other people passes by and don't do anything and don't call earlier a Pet savieres Organisation...🙏🙏🙏🙏🇺🇲🇦🇹💫prayers and love and light for all of you and the poor animals...👋🏻God save u! 🙏🙏🙏🙏💫💫💫💫💖💖💖💖Thanks for helping the poorest of the poors.
So even though this video was posted in June of 2020 it appears most didn't see it till now, in the last few months, which is ridiculous on TH-cam's part. I'm in utter shock at this situation, but thank goodness there is ARC to help restore a little bit of faith back in me for humanity.... I do wish there was an update on the animals, and where we could go to potentially adopt... And I really hope those who committed this atrocity on the animals and child (that made me even more ill) are rotting in prison although they deserve worse. Thank you arc, you are a necessary "evil" because of society..... And I mean that with 1000% respect for each of you!!!

ANYONE, and, I mean ANYONE, who does this to any animal should be arrested and locked up for a long, long time! They have no feelings about doing it to an animal, and, human's are animals, also. Poeple who lets any pet they own get in these shapes, should have to live just like them, as long as the animals lived in it! Get fed, have to go to the bathroom, eat, ANYTHING, they should have to do it! First offense, a year, depending on how the animals lived. The third time (3 strike's you're out), it should be a 5 year mandatory sentence! NO early release, just like they made those poor animals live! I hate, despise, dislike, and, detest any person that mistreats any animal!

So everytime a kennel is purchased, an alert is sent with id number, address, social security number to YOU. So you can look for a pattern and reach these poor animals earlier

5 minutes...just 5 minutes. That's all I need with those responsible for caging that toddler. I would certainly save some taxpayer monies that'd otherwise be spent to incarcerate em. They would cease to be a contaminate of the human gene pool.
