It paints a picture that he's let go of his own rage if only for this encounter; using his own power and not the cursed determination he committed for. In that final confrontation, I also like to imagine that doing this would somehow alleviate some of his own sins by helping another conquer their own hell. As the Comidian approaches his hell, Satan sends his herald to soften the opposition for easy soul-reaping. However, Death underestimates the bond the Infideliate has with life, finding not only an escape but also cleanses the skeleton of some of the sins, pushing him outside the Devil’s grasp.

Are they trying to kill the people who put them through hell…? Or are they trying to defeat the God they cannot see?
And before y’all pester me bout the check stats and especially Dusts ATK and def, this is, like, dust as soon as he exits ruins basically, so he wouldn’t have much hp. Maybe atk10 and def15.
