HARD AGREE! They were crazy amazing together!! The music was so creative, original, beautiful, and strong. This hyper-sexual solo project with the very basic music is just not it. Chloe is actually an extremely talented producer! I would love to see her catalog grow by producing music for top artists. She definitely has the talent to be among the ranks of the top producers in the industry

I think the whole industry is wicked. It's not what people think it is. Being famous is not the "American Dream" it once was. I believe a lot of dark things go on behind the scenes that we don't know about. I just hope Chloe get out of that industry and become an independent artist and be her most authentic self because this is not who I believe she is, it's very forced. Chloe is an instrument and tool of the music industry. She has minimal control over song choice, video adaptations, album release dates and management. If the public relates Chloe to imitating someone, its because that is the direction she was coached into...Chloe has choreographers and stylists for videos and photos shoots. She has not been in the industry long enough, to initiate personal demands. If her album sales tanked it was a 3 fold process of A&R song choices being released, no true fan base streaming, and relying on management to push her momentum.

But when single ladies came out and umbrella came out there were so many TH-cam people covering the actual dark hints behind it and now you can’t find any videos about it now. This is an age old industry tactic. If there is an artist that has a look or sound of an established artist, or maybe even poses a threat to the popularity of an established artist (especially if the artist is getting older) then that label will sign them and shelve them. It is also very expensive to launch a new artist so you basically get rid of the problem without having to spend any money by shelving them or not promoting them. Super shady.

The positive thing is that it took Michael Jackson's Thriller over a year before it became popular. In that year, Michael took every opportunity to promote and perform the songs on that album. This is why up and coming artists don't need to sign long-term record deals. They end up in bad contracts and can't get out of them. Their career dies when no new music gets put out because music is shelved. At the mercy of label to let them out of contract in most instances. They need to sign 1 record deal and then re-negotiate if album is a success. Many artists get screwed and don't get paid rushing into these deals. It's been happening forever. JoJo, New Edition, TLC and Kelis had contracts where they basically were working for free and not getting paid after label deducts all their expenses.

This is an age old industry tactic. If there is an artist that has a look or sound of an established artist, or maybe even poses a threat to the popularity of an established artist (especially if the artist is getting older) then that label will sign them and shelve them. It is also very expensive to launch a new artist so you basically get rid of the problem without having to spend any money by shelving them or not promoting them. Super shady.

Baby I think you missed the principle of this video. It’s not about Chloe not making money or getting enough publicity because we know she gets that. It’s about beyonce being her whole PRODUCER and being absolutely useless to her. And instead of helping grow her career she’s literally the reason she’s plummeting. With that being said if beyonce continues to be lazy when it comes to her artists they are going to get played out. Chloe Bailey has clout yes but most of her clout is tied to her sister. She’s trying to make her solo career debut. It doesn’t matter how many fans she has she doesn’t have nearly as many as beyonce. So just little things such as promoting her album on at least the LABEL’S account was so hard?? She’s LITERALLY signed to that label. It’s like she signed to the label and nothing else. Everything stayed exactly the same. You’re clearly not an artist because you would see that is a giant problem. And what about the other 2 artists that I have never heard of in my life😂? For them to be signed to the Queen herself, why aren’t they touching views? Why aren’t they making bank? Why was their careers suddenly completely cut off to be signed to one of the biggest r&b singers today? It’s just not adding up. It just seems like Beyoncé’s acting like the lazy baby sitter that’s only doing their job for the money barely doing it at that.

I feel like it’s due to the sound change, she needed to wait until she was a lot bigger before switching up her sound. Her and her sisters sound was special and her fans were used to it so you can just jump head first into solo. You have to release one by one singles and try to still stay on brand for what people are used ti hearing and slowly throw in some different sounding styles via singles to test the water.

I don't see Halle having these problems with her solo career and when her album comes out I don't think she'll have issues. I'm not a big Beyonce fan but I wouldn't even blame Bey for this. This is why up and coming artists don't need to sign long-term record deals. They end up in bad contracts and can't get out of them. Their career dies when no new music gets put out because music is shelved. At the mercy of label to let them out of contract in most instances. They need to sign 1 record deal and then re-negotiate if album is a success. Many artists get screwed and don't get paid rushing into these deals. It's been happening forever. JoJo, New Edition, TLC and Kelis had contracts where they basically were working for free and not getting paid after label deducts all their expenses.
