dunno bout the pricing issues but know someone who has a leguna sec blue convertible 2003 e46 m3 49k miles 6MT. has about 370+hp now. a lot of work done on it. all dinan parts except coilovers. listen, the m3 was sick stock, but with dinan parts the car is fucking unreal. the sound, smell, feel, look, smell is just incredible. it's like a tazmanian devil when it hits 4000rpm. if u cant afford it, sucks but if u can, then u know what's up lol. expensive or not, the e46 is enhanced x3 in every way. start saving, kids. or start begging your parents early.
i installed dinan carbon cold air intake today. It is amazing. I had dinan stage 2 software upgrade before. I can feel the power of upgrade after installing the air intake today. I found out , bmw original air filter is not enough due to more air requirement after software upgrade. Don't buy cheap air intake to your 335i. Because dinan closed carbon intake carries cold air from bottom to turbo not from inside the hot area in engine. Also It looks cool.
Thats very true but talk jive on the M3. No matter what you do to a 335 its still not an M3. No one buy and M3 and says damn I wish i would have gotten that sweet 335 however 99% of all 335 owners would have bought and M3 if they could have. Its not all about straight line speed man. No matter how fast that N54/55 you will never sound like the S65. I do completely agree with your entire comment though. Check out the Dinan M3 with its 4.6 stroker that badboy will kill this 335.
Personal preference, some people like the 335 for its straight line acceleration and others get the M3 because it's better on the track (obviously) but lets look at a 2009 335i (22k) vs 2009 m3 (44k) with the money you save, you could use that to modify your 335i to out perform the m3 in each and every category, plus it is much easier to find parts and upgrade the internals on the 335i.
@08turboSS this is not true. My parts installed by bmw dealer. Habberstad Huntington. It is under warranty. you can call ask them if it covered or not :)
@padredelasmentiras i have a e46 325ci with the dinan stage three suspension i can tell you from experience that it is extremely well balanced extremely... and there's much more grip.... at at really really high speeds... it feels like it just plants itself its pretty amazing how its tuned it feels almost like it has variable characteristics
Exactly. Some people who comment on YT are pathetic. I will say that Dinan products are a bit up there in price (especially the tunes) but at least Dinan matches the manufacturer's warranty which adds peace of mind. People are prattling on that the JB4 tune is better because it's cheaper but cheaper doesn't reflect quality of product, the coverage and the after sales service.
@DinanCarsdotcom I was considering about getting either Dinan Stage 2 for my 2009 335i xdrive coupe... I have a factory oil cooler. How much power will my car make with only the ECU reflash? Thanks.
well if you are on a budget and you want less on insurance and less cost in mechanics then you should get these. plus when you have an ///M car you take the series number (3, 5,6) and you multiply that for insurance etc. example 335i insurance $500/ m3 $1500
Hey guys, I have a 2007 white 335i coupe stock with 163000 kilometers on it. What can I do to it to make it run faster, look better and not affect fuel economy too much! Willing to spend $4-5k max.
+Aathavan JB4, FMIC, CP,catless DP, DCI..all under 2K that leaves you some spare to do some suspension- front M3 control arms, rear subframe bushings, upgrade shocks/springs. For about 2K more..but before you do all that..some regular maintenance..change Spark Plugs, Walnut blasting..that done you got yourself a winner :) ...Just dont try and beat every car on the road, someone is always faster...335i as it is, is a lot of car! Chances are the car is ablready better than your current driving skills...nothing beats a good driver! PS:- you might actually see an increase in milage if you dont mash the fun pedal everytime ;)
Yes but still it won't be as good as the M3, however to commute the M3 is not harsh and doesn't blow the tank, it can take 450+ kms on a tank depending on your driving behavior.
imo a carbon fiber intake system is a waste of money unless you are at car shows with the hood constantly open unless you have like the highest level M with every single modification including CF doors, hood, trunk then it would make sense but on a 335i with everything else stock would be totally stupid carbon strut tower bar is totally stupid
A couple of typos in the closed captioning. Purchase for perches, conies for Koni's...who proof reads this stuff before sending it out?? Cool setup though, but way over priced nonetheless.
I changed my boost solenoid 3 times because my 2011 BMW 335i coupe keeps cutting out under full throttle and sometimes it’ll throw me into stupid mode as well. PLEASE HELP HELP HELP. I am sooooo frustrated and overwhelmed with this I had a BMW master tech look at it for months and he couldn’t figure it out!!! Im on MHD Stage 2+ with 93 octane pump gas only with full bolt ons and either a stock turbo or vargas level one or vargas level 2 turbo, the previous owner couldn’t prove to me that he swapped the turbo so I think its stock. GOD HELP ME im so close to ditching this piece of shit and driving it into a wall!!!!

@@2stocke9x Those codes are all over the place. Some are tuner codes, some are transmission, and others point to other systems. Other angle would be to reach out to MHD and see if this combination of stuff is something known that they deal with.
Can I use just the Dinan intake and exhaust without changing the ecu? If so, what kind of gains are possible? Also, how is long term engine longevity effected with the full upgrade as shown here? Thanks.
hate to say it, a cai will only add maybe 4-6 hp..... Also, adding bigger, wider than stock wheels increases the cars weight despite the wheels being lighter than stock the bigger tires will be 3-5lbs each heavier.... countering the wheels weight.... And yes to the guy that said something earlier, Dinan charges WAY to much for these parts... Plus BMW NA will no longer Honor DINAN warranties....
You need rims dude, also nowadays all you need is an Android phone and buy the apps and you can actually get about the same or more in power, dinan prices are just too much for what you can get for cheaper.
I would like to add 200 more hp to my e92 through a dinan software upgrade. Is this possible without all the hardware mods? Or what's the max HP I can get from a dinan software update?
no .. I have added the Dinan intercooler, Dinan oil cooler, Dinan stage 3 software, BMW performance exhaust and AFE Cold air intake and it has reached 457 hp/ 600 torque. Max from Dian Stage 2 software is 375 hp with just software. You might be able to get more from Cobb or JB modules but I have not tried.
El_Caladito in all it was 7500. I did get suspension; however, that was not part of the 7500. Stage 2 and a cold air intake will do just enough to make smile.
El_Caladito it's about 1400. But worth every penny. Any BMW dealer can do it. www.dinancars.com/products/?series=3-Series&model=335i%20&%20xdrive-e90&mid=1123
Seems like dinan is scared of his competitors owning the market in tuning. How is a piggyback worse than a flashed dme? Jb4 uses the dme for timing and knock control. pfffft, cobb can get you up to 70whp over the stock number, and if you add bolt ons you get another 100hp and still pay less than dinan asks.... sorry, but cobb wins here, dinan is really overpriced
it's the idea that people like cars with turbos, not NA V8s that have NO torque. The N54 was a phenomenal motor and the newer M3s and M4s are going to back to 6 cylinders with boost. why? because they are BETTER. you have 414hp on an M3 with NO torque to back it up. 414hp and 294ft-lbs? lol V8
This car has a LSD. PeterJG does no thave a clue what he is talking about. I have had 2 BMWs with dinan(the one in the video is in my garage right now) and have been taking them to dealers for service. If the problem is due to Dinan & the dealer does not pay for the warranty work then the Dinan warranty covers it. Have not had to pay for any repairs on either car during the warranty period. Show me another tune that gives you almost 400 hp at the wheels and a warranty.
who gives a fuck ? i have a 335 and couldn't be happier..not a spoiled rich kid whose parents buy them everything. worked my ass off for my bimmer. Obviously i would take an M3 over a 335 if i had the choice and money wasn't an issue. but money is ALWAYS an issue idc who you are bro. even if that GT-R in the pic is yours.

408 is pretty fast
i wanna see more videos of it driving through corners and all that more videos steve!
Miss working there
Was it worth working at dinan?
Highly respected company with great mods. But as much as it costs, why not just start with the M3?
Thanks for the video. Looking forward to the C & D review.

those rims are much nicer looking in person
You should see what Dinan does to an M3... hot damn theirs is insane.

Any plans for n55 tuning?
how much for all the mods??? package deal?
At this point, why not just start with the E92 M3? Cost becomes negligible.
what would the cost be?
@hubbardfan Dinan in essence takes the car that BMW created then Dinan tunes every little bit to make it what BMW SHOULD have created...
@DinanCarsdotcom How much would one of these cost? Thank you.
wonder what the tuning parts and labor for this particular car end up at? same or half the price of the car?
