HP's "Smart App" can't find my printer. I printed the Printer Information Report. It says "The printer is not connected to a network. Contact the person who set up the printer." I want to throw this thing out of the window.

FYI to get the password you need to have wifi enabled. There’s a small button underneath the power button on the back to turn the wifi on.

Can I change the default password of the printer? How can I do? Through the program on the computer?

After I add passport to connect to wifi direct it accepts the password but says no internet
The issue is that my printer is offline. How to even turn it online

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.
How do I turn off wifi direct?
Press wireless button that is at back of printer above the power cable.
@@CopyPrintScanChannel Thank you! Hope it works! I ordered a laptop and I'm going to wait until I get that and then try to connect that to the printer. Trying to connect with my cell phone messed up my phone! I got stuck in Wifi Direct and lost wifi signal when I left my apt.
This is a horrible printer. Your life will be hell don't buy this trash. Doesn't connect. Had to troubleshoot and all..
Please don't think about buying it.
