Women Network pays Sh160,000 fines for Mombasa Petty Offenders

  • A sigh of relief for 20 petty offenders in the Mombasa Remand Prison as they are now scot-free through aid from the Mombasa Women Empowerment Network (MWEN).
    The prisoners were arrested for various petty offences and were over the moon when the in charge of the remand prison informed them that a well-wisher had paid for their offences.
    The network known for rescuing people suffering from mental health has now embarked on a program to assist youth jailed for committing petty offences. The released offenders will be given money to pay for licenses.

    Sincerely Mombasa law courts Sam thing shd be done, otherwise finally hii utakuja lipuka na iwe maaandamano Mazito na hasara mingi itashuudiwa... !!!

    Actually mombasa law Court fines are not fair. One day they fined a tuk tuk drivers 100k,other ones 70k,,imagine, the government should look into mombasa law Court and ask them to fine fairly
